Hello,

I wanted to give a quick review on my 905 V3 mod I have been using for approximately a year. I am aware of a newer model, I believe it is called a Nomad now... but I have to say, I do not understand why this mod has not been more popular. It just may be that most mod's of this type are simply very good and well made.

My goal in converting to vaping was:

Health.
Lower costs.
Ease of use.
Low maintenance.
Stable features and reliability.
Good flavor.

The 905 V3 did all that without breaking the bank. It is simply a workhorse.

The only two issues, which did not bother me at all and did not affect the actual use of the mod...

1. The black mat finish does scratch revealing a brass-like finish underneath.

2. The default timer of approximately 6-10 seconds stopped working, which was fine with me as this allowed me to vape longer without the unit shutting off.

Another fine feature is the low resistance (LR) 901 atomizers. Being a previous menthol smoker, once vaping I had the revelation that I really did not like the flavor of tobacco. This is a very subjective subject, I know; however, I have to say the LR 901 atty's seem to provide much more flavor. I tried the LR 501 and was very disappointed in it, but again, I must stress this was for me...

I have recently purchased a Reo Mini and I am in the process of adapting it to my 901 atty's as I wanted a mod that I did not have to fill with such frequency. I cannot comment on that yet as I have very little use with it, but it is quite a beautiful mod, so well made and the pictures I have seen do not do it justice. Plus, it has all the features I was looking for... the ease of use, etc.

I will continue to use my 905 V3 in the future, probably as a backup, as I am sure it will be phased out quite a bit with my new Reo Mini once adapted. I would not hestitate to purchase another one as they are inexpensive as a stand alone mod and I know what to expect.
