A big sample box

As I sit and stare at all the v4l cart flavors, it makes me wish they had a sample box. Yes yes I know they do have sample boxes.... But what I am talking about is a BIG box. One cart of each flavor in the whole store. Now that would be a exciting package to get. It would be like when you were little and got the huge box of crayons instead of just the normal colors hehe

This has been discussed many times over in the past, and the general consensus was that it'd be fun, but there'd be very few sales of it (due to cost and the fact that not every flavor sounds appealing to everyone) which would lead to outdated stock.

Much as I shudder to think what that would cost, I also love the idea. I'm just not sure it's practical from a retailer's perspective. But since when does practicality factor in to fantasy? My favorite crayons were the 96s with sharpener.

Perhaps another idea would be to offer a mix and match option. I love going to Total Wines and mixing and matching six-packs of all of the new ales and such. Maybe a ten or twenty-pack that one could customize. Then I could vape dark chocolate raspberry while drinking a framboise lambic, and vape espresso while knocking back shots of Van Gogh espresso vodka, and....dang, is it 5:00 yet?

The mix & match idea has also been something that many people were excited over. The reason it was ultimately discarded was because it would be an inventory nightmare. If I had a bit more time, I'd find the pictures of the warehouse that V4L has, and it'd show you just how much stuff they keep at any given time (It's CRAZY).

Having few sales and a product that could become outdated is not good for any company. Maybe that could be solved with a special edition preorder. People would have a time frame to order the special limited edition box set ( hehe) . A list would be made and if there was enough people on the list ( kinda like a petition ) then it would go to step two which would involve them pre paying for the set ( because I assume it would take more time to put together than things normally in stock and would solve the few people backing out of the deal (no refunds) and leaving you with stock)
I don't know. I am not a business person nor do I play one on tv. I am just imagining swimming through the package.

I thought about the special edition, too, Techno. I know I would want one, if it was something that came in a keepsake box or something that I was going to keep, but as the product is ultimately consumable, I don't know about how the rest of it would play out.

Don't get me wrong, I think it'd be lots of fun to have a small swimming pool filled with cartos. I'm just pointing out that logistically, the ideas presented are not feasible and should not get anybody's hopes up.

I don't think anybody's hopes are up, I think we're having a delightful mutual fantasy. I would love a commemorative collectible carto box filled with all kinds of carts. Maybe for an anniversary? Hint, hint.

It all seemed so much simpler in my fantasy. Nothing like a few technicalities to burst my bubble.
I'll just have to buy lots and lots of different carts and organize bar-hopping kits. Before this is over I imagine my studio will be filled with little, color-coded plastic boxes and wall racks of syringes and bottles of juice. It's an ocpd nightmare in the making.

I too have thought that a "create-your-own" sampler would be great. It is really frustrating to have to buy a box of carts to try a new flavor and not like the flavor. Now your stuck with carts you don't like and money you can't get back.

Yep just a fantasy. I am new to vaping and v4l is my first e-cig. So I am bound to order every flavor little by little. So I am going to set one cart a side from every flavor I get . Thus my own box set. Woohoo.

Since this is all just fantasy, it would be great if someone would come up with a swap system like the paperback book swap; each member lists their inventory, the member who requests an item pays shipping and the seller earns a credit, the seller then uses the credit to request what they want from another seller. And so on, and so on...I'm sure someone here is smarter than I and could figure out how to make it work.

I think you may be on to something, how hard could it be to add a swap sub forum, hell if they wont start one for you then just start a swap thread, I think it would provide a viable option to trying new flavors for customers, I think it would only serve to make them more money, yes I know if people are swaping instead of buying from them its a loss, but I know I personally vape one or two flavors regularry and have about 5 or 6 others I mix in occasionally, but if I found a flavor I liked I would buy in in droves, example I bought a samples from AVE when I started, I loved Bobas Bounty, I buy it in the biggest bottles they sell now on a fairly regular basis. If it were easier to find that all day vape it would sell more,

So my theoretical math is that a people randomly buying samples here and there "trying out flavors" generates a good income, but people who can trade flavors they dont like are much more likely to find a favorite that they are going to be loyal to and buy in larger quantities and higher frequency than those who sample from the retailer there fore generating more loyal return customers for the retailer, example someone buys a flavor, they are a first time customer, the hate what they bought, they may or may not return, but if they swap it for something they love, they will come back to the source. In short all roads lead to Rome. Sorry to ramble, If you cant tell Im in web marketing. Like I said I see a charlie sheen here....nothing but winning

Instead of a Big Sample Box, how about a sampler with 1@ of the nicotine strengths - 8,11,18,24,36 - all in one flavor. That way, newbies would be able to find their strength sooner, without having to buy 5 of each strength. Just an idea ;-)
