A Big Thank you and a personal note

Hi all: As many of you know, or may remember, I placed an order with Imeo. Haven't received my order yet and got a little concerned if in the future I'd need to send the device back to Imeo. I was concerned about the cost of shipping.

You see, as I've mentioned on a previous thread my husband has lung cancer. He's going to take an early retirement and of course as with most people who live on a retirement budget, it's much less than what regular income usually is, plus of course the cost of medical bills.

I wrote Imeo with this concern just a little while ago and asked him if I could get a full refund.

It didn't take him long at all before I noticed in my paypal account was a full refund waiting for acceptance.

On top of that I received the absolute nicest private email from Imeo and his only concern was with my husband's health and me. He never asked any questions about the refund, never said anything that made me feel bad, he only said that he wished us the best and that he would always be here for me or us.

I just wanted to give a public thank you and let others know that it isn't just money that makes Imeo nice. Even when he's giving money back, he's absolutely the nicest person.

I'm sure, as I've seen, when someone steps on his toes he may yell out, but when it comes to money or returning money, he doesn't care, he'll be there for us and he was and is.

So, Imeo, publicly I thank you so much!

Thank you Geeker. I guess I just wanted people to know that Imeo isn't all about money. I think when he says he loves his people he means it. I think when it comes to loving his GG he means that as well.

I truly wish I could own the GG and I envy those who can.

It's all too easy for some to be critical of other's motives and intentions when, in fact, they no nothing of what lies within each individual's heart or what goes on behind the scenes. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that Imeo would do anything other than what he did in your situation - or for anyone else that had a legimate problem. Thank you for bringing it to light.

Stop the upgrates and sell what you have first. Its time to make some money, Dont waste your money, give them what you have now, dont sell so cheap, dont waste all these buttons etc.

Stop the upgrates and sell what you have first. Its time to make some money, Dont waste your money, give them what you have now, dont sell so cheap, dont waste all these buttons etc.

You really care about others. Others can say all they want. We know better. If you didn't care there would be no upgrades.

The main reason for this post is because I just wanted others to know not to worry about Imeo and his honesty and when he says he cares more for others than he does about making money, well, again I just wanted to give a first hand example of this.

Thank you Imeo, as always. It's now gotten a little more serious even than it was, so again I truly thank you. Someday I'll do my best to get one of your babies, it's a goal of mine now . You're the best!

I just received a Private Message from a member that told me in no uncertain terms I should be ashamed of myself for what I've done, which was to back out of buying this item. I was told that certain members have discussed my situation (with out asking me to explain) and come to the conclusions that I have misrepresented the situation and used my husband's lung cancer as a reason to garner pity and again I should be ashamed. I was told that I was resented for what I've done and yet no one has privately written me asking me for a more thorough explanation. This originated with a private email to Imeo and neither he nor I went into details. I was simply appreciative of his understanding and said so.

I backed out because of a financial situation that is coming up with my husband and I come November. I am working fast and furious to get everything we need before that and forgive me, that means the means to have our devices for our addictions as well as food, and supplements. Yes, I've purchased other items just as expensive as the GG, but as I explained to Imeo privately, the potential of shipping the GG back if anything happened to it would be impossible (because of the cost that was originally discussed on a thread here) come November and for quite a while afterward.

Come November and for a few months after that, after bills, DH and I will have $26 a week for food. Not to worry, I'm working hard to get everything we need before that. Pantry is filling up, supplements are stocking up, e-cigs, juices, etc. are getting stashed, and on and on. But IF I were to have to send the GG back after November, I wouldn't be able to afford to.

Again I was told to be ashamed of myself, I was told I was using my husband's illness (lung cancer) for my own benefit and for pity, I was told I was resented and I was told that a number of members had discussed me and came to this conclusion.

I'm sorry those of you who discussed me came to this conclusion. I wish just one of you would have been kind enough to write me and ask the situation.

ckc: I just want to state again as was my purpose from the beginning, that Imeo is exactly who he says he is. You know, he didn't ask for further explanation (although I wrote more to him in the private emails than I did on the forum, but still not everything). Imeo immediately returned my money with sincere well wishes. He truly is who he says he is and he does care for others. For him people come first, just like he always says, and he proved to me he really means what he says.

as to getting bad PM's, I am sorry this happened, it should not have,
it is a thing between you and Sakiss,
and as you said -- quite rightly, --
he is a good, and honest man, with a big heart,
he is kind and thoughtful, and cares deeply for people,

a few of us were going to chip in and buy the GG for you,
as we did feel sad that you would miss out because of your misfortune,
but when we discovered that you had already a couple of big boy
e-cigs, we decided not to go ahead with our plan.

But, as far I know, there was no animosity involved with the members who were going to be involved in this plan for your surprise GG.
