I was partly musing over my own behaviour on blogs, Suzy.. considered I do better if I make general social comment rather than going down the road of finger pointing at an individual blogger...though I accept it's tempting sometimes.. hope that makes things clearer...
It's unfortunate that the snarkys overtake the playground at times.
There are indeed very many caring people at VF.
Spikey herself is exceptional. She has a lot of passion for her mission as well as compassion for others. I very much admire her for who she is.
And who could not simply adore Kate?
And DW is not an alien, contrary to popular belief.

I agree there some really nice people over on Vaper's.
A lot of them I only know through their postings, and most of those I miss from ECF. People like Apostle, who is a great miss here. Kate, as you already mentioned, and sorry guys, the one I miss the most... DW.... mainly for the smiles he gave me, and the fact that he played devils advocate so often. It took real guts to come into an argument filled with posters and disagree...
Spikey, I have utmost respect for, as her video, an introduction to vaping, taught me not to expect miracles, and that ecigs were not perfect, that video saved me so much upset, as I was prepared for ecigs going wrong...lol
So yes, its good to mention that we miss these people.

I think the hardass stance isn't the best way to promote e-cigs and the e-cig community in general. We were all newbies once and I bet even they had 'stupid' questions. Yes, even them.

There is even a thread where someone was bragging about coming to ECF just to mess with the newbies. It was a big laugh, I tell ya.

That's hilarious - I was just watching one of Spikey's videos before you made your last post, Christena (a video review of a pass thru). The first time I'd come across this lady.
I'm now watching her intro video. Many of my g/fs are Doms, so it makes her vaping video education doubly entertaining.
You can also see why the BDSM community would perhaps take more readily to these new devices as they take to devices...lol

Spikey's introduction to vaping video is very informative with useful tips too.. She's incorrect, however, over lithium-ion batteries requiring a pre-charge as the predecessor recharging technology of nickel-based batteries did - but it's not like you don't see that mistake commonly made.
But apart from that minor niggle some very useful vaping pointers intelligently made from the backdrop of a corner of what looks like her dungeon (to raise an extra smile and/or maybe an eyebrow )
