I was smoking 0.4 mg(?) nicotine cigaretes, 20 per day for at least few years (with carchoal filter but never mind, it seemed like snakeoil to me) and now i have switched to Janty eGo-C. I got myself juice of 11mg(?), 15ml and it feels kind a strange, like i am a bit stoned, i thought it is either too much nickotine or PG. I got myself 8mg VG from a friend and i had the same feeling. Now i am really clueless, is the dosage too high? 8mg is considered as low, are the juices that strong? The second part which might be unreleated is a feeling of having stuffed ears from time to time. Maybe it is a coincedence but i preatty much never had that feeling. I think about deluting the mixture with glycerin to make the mixture around 4mg but unfortunally in my country it is easyer to get drugs then freaking glycerin (without additives).

The nicotine hit you get from an e-cig is sadly not the same as you get from a ciggie. it isn't for me anyway. i understand what you mean by it feeling like being a bit stoned. i had that for a day or 2 then it went away. if it's more long term than that then i'm not sure. i started at 18mg then went to 45mg now i stick with 36mg.

Hmm, ok then this is normal (i am vaping for around 2.5 days) but now i am searching for logical explanation why this happens. The last thing i would want is getting hooked to even higher dose of nicotine than i had on cigaretes as middle term plan is to stop with nicotine for good. To all newcomers to wiping, i have a box of cigarettes infront of my monitor typing this (and i am in IT bussiness so you can imagine i stare at the monitor larger part of the day) and i must say i didnt have a drag to light the "real stuff" since i moved to ecig. I tryed to stop multiple times but i always turned back, not for nicotine but rather for feeling of smoking (having something in hand while drinking coffee/beer, doing something with hands,...) which I was missing the most. I have also tryed with Nicorettes (nickoten chewing gum) but it didnt change the urge. Regarding quiting cigarettes, the ecig is miles infront of patches and chewing gum...

I feel silly answering since I am brand-new, but I definitely felt very dizzy and "stoned" my first few days, along with headaches. I read somewhere that one can/does actually suffer withdrawal-type symptoms from tar, etc - don't know if that's true or not, but I certainly experienced something very much like withdrawal even though I am using 18mg (?).

I don't know about the ear thing, but I know I chain vape at times. During a tense movie or when I get home and have one of those "I can finally relax" moments. I get the nicotine creeping up on me and I overdo it sometimes. Makes me dizzy, but I don't get the nausea I'd get off actual tobacco (ymmv.)

Then again, could be an ear infection and is only being associated with the change in your life, when it's just coincidence.

I just started vaping last night and I noticed the same thing as well, although it will only last a few hours after vaping. I don't think it has anything to do with withdrawal. I smoked two cigs last night and another two today one at 5pm, and one recently at 8pm. I have gone the whole work day without a cig in the past and never had this sort of feeling. I got 11mg carts, not sure of the pg/vg ratio. i got my starter kit from vapor4life. I guess I'll try some 8mg e-liquid and look for something with more vg than pg.

You may be having withdrawls from the chemicals in cigarettes. The lightheadedness is the body adjusting to the increase in oxygen. Cigarettes produce carbon monoxide which has an afinity for hemoglobin in the bloodstream and it displaces oxygen. When cigarettes are eliminated, the oxygen no longer has to compete with carbon monoxide in the lungs. Being "stoned" is subjective, Nicotine is a stimulant, symptoms of OD are nervousness, nausea, tight stomach ache, racing heart rate, elevated blood pressure, insomnia, etc, etc, etc...look it up. If you are feeling lethargic and sluggish I promise you it is not the nicotine. If your plan is to eventually quit using ecigs, why not just quit now? There are much more effective abstinence programs available. I came to Vape and Vaping is my replacement for smoking, at this time I have no intentions of quitting. If I ever do I don't think I can fool myself with the old wean tactic, we are addicts and if it is available it will be used. Just go buy a patch and cut out the middle man.

I had a similar feeling the first few days of vaping but I thought it was only me. It's nice to know that I was not alone.

I'm not sure what you mean about stuffy ears but yesterday (about 2.5 weeks in and off cigs) my ears were popping the entire day. I'm not sure if this is what you are experiencing or even if it's related to vaping/quitting smoking...
