A challenge.

Well, I don't know if this belongs in Coil Builds, or Wick and Wire, but I have a challenge for everyone.

I call this hulk wire (although hulk claptons would be good). It is 2, 22 gauge wires claptoned with 28 gauge wrap. I made a foot of it, and have never managed to actually coil it, without damaging the wrap wire. Even considering that problem, I've yet to encounter an rda or rta with post holes that can actually fit it.

For reference, the small bit of wire to the side of it, is Geekvape twisted clapton wire. 2x28 gauge twisted, with 32 gauge wrapped around it.

Can anyone actually manage to successfully coil said wire, as well as get it functional on a regulated mod?

You would probably have good results drilling out your post holes on a lower quality rda.The twisted messes rda has some huge post holes that may work. Not absolutely sure on this one. If you do manage to squeeze it through a 5-6 wrap would do nicely IMO. If it works out let me know

Yes it is. Which I assume is why it is a P.I.T.A to try and coil it.

Cci centurion has great big(3mm) post holes, but its a 30mm rda ,might fit your hulk clapton wire

lol i didn't try it. i imagine it would be impossible to keep it saturated for a decent pull.
