Hi all, I have a few quick questions.

1. What are the symptoms of a cartomizer being finished? Currently, I am starting to feel a little juice come through and getting much less satisfying hits. I am not sure if that is caused by a battery being bad/needing to be recharged (I'm wondering if I should trust my Riva 510-t battery or not), or the carto being ready to be replaced.

2. Is it possible to recover the juice that is already absorbed in a cartomizer? I am using a tank, so I assume that the cartomizer is well juiced at all times.

As always, thanks for your replies!

Decreased vapor production, gunk leaking into tank ( from carto) and gross flavor are signs you need to change cartomizers.BTW you can save the carto for later. Maybe if you think it's a battery. As far as recovering the e liquid: maybe if your tank is partially full. I have done it before. Just prime the new cartomizer. Keep your tank horizontal remove the old one and put the new one in. It can be messy at times, but I hate wasting e liquid.

People have been known to cut open a carto and take the wet filler out. After collecting a few of them inside a syringe, they compress the syringe and squeeze out the juice. A "recycle" effort. Watch what flavors you mix ;)

This works best for fiber filled cartos, particularly the bottom coil kind like boge. So it kinda depends.

You've heard "squeeze a penny twice"? Well, squeeze a carto once.

Another reason to hate cartos. They waste juice. Sigh. ;) Don't know if it's worth the effort though.

There's a video around here about carto juice extraction but I'm too lazy....

If you are having little to no vapor, burnt taste, or loss of taste, it's done for.

Yes, you can recover some of it with the help of a syringe but you won't get all of it.
