A couple of questions about SI Volt standard automatic batteries.

1. I understand these are regulated. I am guessing when they come off the charger they will not be hitting at 4.2v? Instead of a boost I am also going to guess it is using a cut off when it gets below 3.6v.

2. It looks like air comes in through a hole in the threads? Will it work with and 510-to 808 adaptor? Will the battery work with other cartomizers? My concern is the location of the air hole would be blocked. I have a wide variety of cartomizers here.

3. What is the maximum safe discharge rate on these batteries?

John, let me take a whack at your questions.

(1) The Volt cig-a-likes are regulated to approximately 3.7 volts. They come off the charger at 3.7, and stay at 3.7 until just before running empty, at which they drop to maybe 3.5 or 3.6 volts.

(2) You'd need an 808-to-510 adaptor, and yes, I believe they would still work (although they'd look a bit clunky).

(3) Absolutely no clue. :(
