The other question: On 510 auto batteries the vent hole is dead center in the positive post on the battery. Thus, the greater risk of killing a battery from a flooding accident.
Pretty sure Mt. Baker Vapor has 808 to 510 adapters too. Last I looked they had both 510 and eGo adaptes for 808 batteries.
I haven't tried any of the adapters from Mt. Baker. I've wasted too much money on adapters that don't work properly so I'm leery of trying any other than the ones from MadVapes. There's another vendor who sells the same adapter as MadVapes, but the name escapes me.
I have a bunch of 510 batteries and older KR808, I was just trying to get an idea on how the air was drawn on the sealed ones.
The hole on the "sealed" 808's is indeed below the threads, on the side of the center post. The whole sealed title is in error, as these batteries will be ruined by a flooding incident as any unsealed model on the market. I lost 3 of my autos before I learned how to care for them properly due to flooding issues.
This is why 808 cartomizers have a slot through the center thread, so as to allow air to reach the vacuum switch. Which is why 510-808 adapters need to have a slot on the bottom as well. There are also 808-901 adapters which are built the same way.
