I am a Brand spanking new owner of my very first GG (Stealth) and an Ody. It took me a week ( and most of my supply of wire and wick) to get a coil that actually worked properly. Now that it's working the way I'd envisioned it would, I have a couple of questions for all of you experienced owners.

First question - what sort of a vaper are you, and how long does a tank last you on the Ody? I tend to be a fairly steady vaper...never take more than 2 or 3 draws at a time, but rarely more than 5-10 minutes between draws. I'm asking since I have had very limited experience with the Ody, and don't want to head out somewhere for the day and run out of juice an hour later and have to resort to the unthinkable.

Second question - how in the HECK do you fill this thing without it flooding the coil and leaking into the battery connection??

I've tried everything; tighten down the mouthpiece/juice control before filling, adjusting the seating depth of the ceramic connection up, down, in between, I've tried every position I can, checked the o-ring, checked the ceramic for cracks...everything I can think of, and even now, I just filled up the Ody and the coil is flooded, dripping down into the battery connection and I've got the paper towel out dabbing up the excess.

It seems to flood when I fill it up, but it doesn't continue to flood; I blow it out a couple of times and it's good, but it is frustrating...they aren't cheap and it's irritating to have to screw around with it like this each time. I'm sure it's something obvious that I'm missing, I just don't for the life of me know what.

Thank you TOO much for your suggestions! I LOVE this mod...it's beautiful to look at, a pleasure to use now that it's working...it just drips quality. I understand what all the uproar is about now that I have my own. I just wish I could get past this nagging little issue

Welcome to the GG family wreimer.

I had a little flooding when refilling, I had to screw the rebuildable part into the base a bit harder.

Odysseus is a thirsty beast, I refill every few hours.

I vape at 3.7v with 1.5 - 2.0ohm coils.

Like Imeo said, the Stealth should not leak into the battery at all if screwed tight.

yep, make sure the mouthpiece is screwed down all the way (juice control closed) put the top cap on without the o ring or locking nut on it then the o ring and finally the locking nut. I get 0 flooding when doing it this way.

I agree too.... attaching the top/cinch nut/o ring parts together, forces more air pressure inside, causing the flooding...

wreimer, did you notice that the top cap - the one you screw on over the mouthpiece - is two pieces? I was flooding before I noticed they separate. No problems with assembly related linkage since. Just checking.

One fill lasts me 5 - 8 hours @ 1.5ohm. My vaping rhythm sounds similar to yours. My juice is 25 - 30%vg.

Grats btw. :)

The Full Ody with all the parts is capable of being a rebuildable atty in small mode (current), large mode with window, inside the UFS. It will also take 510 atties and cartos as well as CE2's and operate in drip mode. A GG base will also be offered to allow it to fit onto a GGTS without the need for adapters.

Just to jump in cartos may not work. The 510 mouthpiece will not fit regular cartos. I have hopes for cut down standard length single coil cartos but anything longer then a normal 510 atty won't fit.
