I now am building strictly 2xAA boxes with (1) 14500 battery a 3mm bright LED using an LED mounting clip, horn switches, finishing washers, sealed 510 connectors only. The LED mount and finishing washer makes the little box look ULTRA clean and professionally made. I have determined that I don't need anything fancy to get people started on e-cigarettes. I still mod here and there, but I am not experimenting too much with e-cig's... Well, maybe a little. Although I have expanded my electronics hobby as I get back into the old electronics hobby. I am goofing around with some easy microcontroller projects and have plans for robotics, R/C vehicle modding, autonomous vehicles and a bunch of other stuff..
HOWEVER I do have plans to design and build at least one more advanced e-cig. My quest for the perfect V.V.P.V. continues and this won't be it either. It is a vaping station, and not portable. This is my dream machine I have been thinking about almost since getting into modding and re-learning electronics...slowly, and I only have THOUGHTS on this, nothing worked out on paper at all. Some of my ideas on this... (nothing definite at all yet)
THE HQ
A Multi-Tank Multi-Atomizer Multi-Flavor Desktop vaping Station
An Atmel based microcontroller system.
Completely rebuildable atomizers using stainless steel mesh wicking.
Multiple juices in a row of individual tanks - button selectable.
Each flavor tank will have its own tank/atomizer/wick so no flavor overlapping.
Will have additional connectors across The HQ allowing you to connect a
401, 801, 808d, 901, 510, EGO, LEO and maybe others in addition to the tanks.
* Choose variable voltage, variable current or variable wattage.
* 3 buttons choose which of the 3 sliders you want to control your vaping with.
A temperature control system so you can make your vapor as cool or warm as you like.
Will have an AC plug for powering straight from a wall socket.
Will have a S.mart L.ithium-I.on C.harger what I will call the SLIC system.
The SLIC system will be able to detect the type of batteries plugged
in and charge accordingly.
The SLIC will be able to use 10440, 14500, 14650, 16340,
18500 and 18650 Lithium-Ion batteries.
I may make the SLIC a power option for the HQ like in case your power goes out.
..again this is just a pipe dream, but one I do plan to pursue after I glean a little more microcontroller knowledge, and also figure out how to make a prototype device structure and components using my silicone mold liquid and ABS plastic liquid items.
Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas are welcome. ...and yes I know how to add a vaporizer option for various organic materials, but that is not going to happen because this is a SMOKE FREE device, even if it is a friendlier type of smoke...
