Only tried USA Mix, Red USA Mix, tobacco, Virginia and DK-TAB. Red and Virginia are not as sweet as TAB. Didn't get to Flue Cured or Turkish. I asked a Dekang rep and she said DK-TAB stands for "Dekang tobacco Blend", TA for tobacco, B for blend. I know granddaddy Vapenstein calls it Turkisk American Blend. Don't know where it came from.

Please post how you like Turkish and Flue Cured. Thanks. :)

Edit: I'm betting no other Dekang "tobacco" flavor is darker than TAB.

virginia is darker, hillington darker yet. I have just about every dekang tobacco aside from flue cured and turkish.

Are you talking about the flavors? Dk-tab seems redder/darker to me in color. I thought dk-tab was a stronger flavor too, but could be due to the sweetness. Haven't tried hillington.

I'm talking about flavor/tone, but it does seem the darker the color, the darker the flavor. Too many e-liquids have that "fresh" pack of cigs taste that is too lite and too sweet. I like a deeper tone. I'm trying to match what is in my epuffer carts. It's dark in flavor, slightly bitter sweet and the slightest hint of roasted peanut butter. It's not what I would call a pipe tobacco though. It's almost taste like the smell of dark chocolate but it's not a chocolate flavor. LOL

Maybe Hilton?

If liquid is anything like real tobacco then the Turkish should be even more mellow than the blend. As an RYO smoker I was addicted to D&R's Ramback Gold, which was a blend of flue cured Virginian and Turkish. It saved people from having to buy straight Ramback and then blending it with Virginian to add some bite to the ultra smooth and mellow Turkish. Big Tobacco's Turkish blends like Camel haven't actually tasted like Turkish in a very, very long time.

My DIY Dark Vapure juice has a bit of cocoa taste to it and has full-bodied flavor.

DK Turkish Blend has a robust, mellow flavor with little sweetness. I mostly use it as a base in several juices.

I suggest trying My Freedom Smokes Dunhill for a good non-sweet tobacco flavor.

ScooterGirl: I bought some 100% Turkish rolling tobacco once, and it was so smooth there was no throat hit at all... I ended up blending it with Dutch tobaccos.

Hi Max,

Do you mean FSUSA? IF so, no thanks!! I ordered 5 bottles of various FSUSA tobacco and they all tasted like the smell of cheap perfume. Not for me.

Chilli pepper juice! FSUSA "tobacco flavored" juice has the distinction of being the only juice that woke me up coughing at night. Analogs hardly ever did that.:glare:

Are you only interested in Dekang products? If not, then you should check the extracted tobacco flavors from Backwoods Brews, Want2Vape and VapeRite. I think they all offer sample sizes and all offer some kind of "non sweet" or unflavored tobacco. In particular the house extracted Perique from VapeRite is a very dark tasting and looking juice. It turns almost black after a couple of weeks of "steeping" (finishing brewing, many of the extracted juices will need some shelf time before developing their full taste). Good luck!

I'm not a Dekang girl or anything. I'm just going though their flavors right now to try to find something close to the mystery liquid inside my Colibri pres. epuffer sells it as a liquid for $30, but it's not at all what is inside the pres. It was just a China RY type. I got them to admit that and now they say, "We'll have it in 6 months."

I've tried many other companies before and after the epuffer love. Dekang seems to be a good fall back and I was not aware they had so many variations of tobacco. They are low cost enough to try them all. I will def check out your suggestions once I test the Dekang's I have coming. There is a few more from Dekang I may try as well. Hilton, etc.

This liquid is hard to nail down and hard to explain. It's the best I ever used and I have used at least 8 other kits/pre fills in the past. It smells like roasted peanuts when you smell the plastic caps and taste rich, slightly tart, slightly nutty and the feel is really deep in the lungs, but it's not that way too much alcohol created TH. I thought maybe a 555, but the 2 555's I have tired so far are not even close.

Thanks so much for all the help!!

Sounds a lot like Dekang USA mix to me, my favorite flavour so far too.

I vape USA Mix too. And it does come in a lot of prefilled carts. The flavor is really hard to describe, a little sweet, very slightly tangy, nutty, stinky in a tobacco good way. I didn't like it at first, but came back after 20 some odd other flavors. But, it's not dark tobacco in color or flavor, a light flavor to me, reminds me of Marl Lights.

I'm not sure. I think I've tired that in the past, but then again, there are so many brands that use that USA MIX term. I'll grab a 10ml with my next Dekang order. You know, ePuffer is in Canada as well as NY. I wonder if their lab is in Canada (China I bet) and maybe this is some kind of Canadian tobacco flavor?

No, this was juice I made myself using FlavourArt Dark Vapure flavoring. I believe I used 7 or 8% flavoring for that one (I'm in a motel on the Oregon Coast right now and don't have my recipe book to check).

The bad part of making tobacco flavor juices is, it frequently takes a month or more of steeping to have the taste come out right. That may be why the FSUSA juices didn't taste right. The good part is, once you have a number of steeped single flavors you can enjoy blending small amounts together to come with new tastes. Perique/Burley/Virginia was quite nice. Dark Vapure and Perique or Latakia with a small amount of Black Walnut could be close to what you're looking for.

Yep, I sure you are right but I find it a bit silly to purchase something that I have to wait a month to use in hopes it may get better. Look at VS. Wonderful on day one! I have a Dekang basic tobacco that is 4 months old. Still taste the same as it did the day I bought it. FSUSA is quailty I am sure. Just like Johnson Creek is, but both products have a very distinct base flavor and if you don't like the base, you're not going to like any variation.

Anyway thanks so much for the help!!

Agreed. The juice vendors I've tried all have "tobacco" juices that have a family resemblance, AVE, TV, JC, FSUSA and Dekang, a "base" as you call it, with variations. If you don't like the base, may have to skip the whole family.
