Hey guys. I just got a kayfun 3,1, AC-R (squape r clone), Erlkonigin, and Russian 91% v2 clone,

I also have a Kraken 1:1 clone from pegasus Vapor Academy, and an Origen Genesis v2 from bestgear (these have yet to arrive)

if anyone wants to know anything about how they perform or anything of the sort, let me know and I'll either message you or post depending on your preference.

I understand a lot of these are outdated, so if not, feel free to delete this thread.

Interested in the Russain 91% v2. Can you turn the AFC ring to adjust air holes? I heard it is hard to turn it. :-(

If you want I'll send you mine to try out. I'll be honestm, you'd be breaking it in for me since no, I can't adjust the AFC, and it is all the way shut. It sucks because the Kraken (when set up right) and the kayfun seem to be the two best flavor performers, and I really wanted to try using the clone of the clone.

Going to soak it in hot water to try to loosen it up one last time, if it actually gets loose you're still welcome to test it out first.

Not sure if it would work or not,but you may want to try squirting a little bit of juice between the ring and the base toact sort of like a lube.I dont know if those have the o-ring under the ring or not,but when dry those o-rings will grip tight.

On another note,i think maybe someone from angel was watching this thread, because right after i posted about still processing,i got a shipping notice haha.Seems it should ship out today,so i will be able to check that thing out in a couple days.

I got an Erl, two Aqua v2s, a Magma and a Hobo v2 last week. It took two days to process and got here two days after that. For the money I DID'T have to spend on that many atties, I can't really complain.

The Aquas were great out of the gate. I've built them a few times now and feel like I've got it nailed. Simply mind-blowing vape out of them. A bit thirsty.

The Erl has been built four times and wicked close to a dozen. I've almost got it nailed, but I see why they are so loved. It's really doing good work now. It just took four wick jobs on this coil. I think it's totally worth having and my next build will be tailored to run on my wife's CLK1280. It should do well at 11 or 12 watts, I have been running the proposed coil on my Magma for a day and a half now and it's a really good vape at 12 watts. It comes alive at 15, but I don't want her to run her battery at the edge of its limits.

My only complaints about the Erl, aside from how much of a pain it is to wick right, are the ariflow ring setup and how you're supposed to drain the tank to get to the build. You totally can take it apart filled up, but it's not as easy as it should be considering how tricky the wick is. It's worth mentioning that if you don't have a syringe or needle bottle, you should get one if you want an Erl or an Aqua v2. If you get the Erl, browse Qorax's thread. There's a lot of great info in there.

Impossible. There is no exposed o-ring to lubricate. Even after taking the bottom reservoir and the rebuildable base, there is no way to get to the o-ring. The only thing I could do is drop some in the airhole on to the post the ring spins around.

However, after tourquing it with pliers to the point where it felt like I was pushing the threads way past where they end, I was finally able to open an airhole. There is absolutely no way to rotate it counter-clockwise without the rest of the parts unscrewing.

I don't care if it's adjustable or not; now that I have a hole exposed, it is never being moved again,

The problem I have with the Erl is the AFC. Because it is at the bottom around the 510, if the tank floods which is very easy to do considering how finicky the wicking is, it will leak out of the bottom and in to the 510 of your mod. If enough liquid pools in the mod where there is liquid touching both the sidewall and the positive pin, you are asking for a short.

I'm still trying to find the perfect balance. I am thing about putting cotton under the coil in the front and back so it is not covering the airhole, but with enough material in that area to absorb liquid like a reservoir without it dripping out the bottom. I'll let you know how that goes when I do.

Did you soak it in hot water? Does that work?

I had to get pliers. The tank is still stuck together, but they are two pieces that don't need to come apart unless i want to change the tank. at least afc moves 0.o

I suggest sticking with kayfun.

Update on the AC-R: Working a lot better now; used less wick, makes a crackling noise when I hit it, but it isn't flooding or leaking, and the odd flavor seems to be gone. Using the wide deck with cotton trimmed just a hair past the deck

I got my Erlkonigin clone today, and i gotta say i'm impressed.I watched a short video on youtube to see how to wick it,and this thing is really nice.I can't say on the other ones they carry, but the one that says it a 1:1 is a good one.

I don't like the design. I'm sure wicked properly it's great, but I hate how the afc is at the bottom; I don't like having gravity working to pull liquid into my mod.

I watched a few vids, but I just can't get it right when i need to leave it sit overnight while i sleep.

I got my Angelcigs Erl clone last night. Build quality wise, it's nicely put together, especially for the price.

I think maybe it's just not for me. It's noisy as all hell. My biggest gripe is that a build I'd run at 20-25 Watts on other atomizers is to warm at even 18 Watts with the Erl, afc ring removed. I ended up sticking it on a mech with a 1Ω build. Wicking is a little more finicky then comparable atomizers, but I figured it out without to much trouble.

I was going to give it to my wife, but she hates warm vapes.

At least it was only $10....

Just got my erl wicked right, Flavor is great, but yeah it's too warm for my taste even at 12-13 watts.

Again, I still have a problem with the design of the AFC. I just feel that liquid in the 510 (which easily happens if not wicked correctly) is asking for a short

Apollo and CEO Fog arrived this morning from Angelcigs. The Apollo doesn't flow much air but it has good flavor and it looks good on my black SMPL clone. The CEO Fog lives up to its name, that's for sure. The thing will make some vapor. The Apollo is sporting dual 26ga twisted coils @ .23ohm and the CEO has dual 22ga coils @ .21ohms. They are both of decent quality, especially considering the price (Apollo $5, CEO $6). I'll be ordering a couple of more AC clearance attys tomorrow.

I usually run my coils around .7-.8 ohms, but had read about these putting out a warmer vape,i'm assuming because the chamber is so small, but because of that i ran a 1.2ohm in this and it's just about perfect for me.I think next time i may shoot for a 1.3-1.4 to make it just a little bit cooler hit,but it's good now.Of course i have to keep the watts a bit lower too,i've been running at 9 watts today, any more than that, and yeah it definitely starts to get warm haha.
I can't remember the name of the video i watched yeterday on the wicking,it was like 10 minute video, but wicking it the same way he did has worked perfectly.I pulled it off my mod before i went to bed last night for just in case of any leaks, but it was still dry today,so i'm at about 24 hours now since filling it,and no leaks yet.I'm going to be ordering another one of these, and i am going to order the glass tank for them from ibtanked, that way i dont have to worry about which juices i can put in it.I agree with VaPreis though, these things are pretty noisy haha, but i think over time i'll get used to that maybe haha.

The wick job I have now will rival the best of them. I close my afc and no problems at night now.

BTW I was running it at either 1.0 or 1.1 at 12 watts. a little warm, but nothing bad. My mod can't drop below 10 so I'd be screwed if it was lol

Might try bumping it up to 1.4-1.5 later. I just don't want to unwick it yet
