Few questions if people don't mind answering. I've found some peoples answers but would like to get a more wide array of opinions.

Thanks in advance :)

Q: I got my SB and tossed on a few attys. Only some of my 510 attys work. They aren't dead, they work great on my 3.7v and my 5v box mods. Is there a special atty for the SB?

Q: I was looking at the Yetti attys, are they better than most or just another 510 atty?

Q: Is there a special atty that i should use for 6v? I have been using just the attys i have and had not noticed any burning or anything but i was wondering if it might kill their life.

Q: Battery life. I am a Hyper Vapor and have it to my lips every 5 seconds. What should i expect for the battery life on 3.7v (single batt) and 6v (double batt)?

Q: what is the average life for 3.7 and 6v?

Q: I love my SB... oh wait thats not a question....
Thanks for any help guys :)

A: Dunno what to tell you there, that's a bit odd. Are they all the same type of 510?

Q: I was looking at the Yetti attys, are they better than most or just another 510 atty?
A: Newp, just your basic JOYE510. Erm I mean of course they are! :p

Q: Is there a special atty that i should use for 6v? I have been using just the attys i have and had not noticed any burning or anything but i was wondering if it might kill their life.
A: Meh, people will debate left and right on this. IMO your regular atties are fine, let em rock. Typically a lot of people have issues with keep them wet and killing out the atomizers a bit easier.

Q: Battery life. I am a Hyper Vapor and have it to my lips every 5 seconds. What should i expect for the battery life on 3.7v (single batt) and 6v (double batt)?
A: I get about 14 hours of my 18650, but they're a bit older :p

Q: what is the average life for 3.7 and 6v?
A: Average? Can only give you from my preference (3.7V: 14 Hours 6v: 5 Hours)

We don't recommend using it on 6v if you do so, use at your own risk :)

Q: I love my SB... oh wait thats not a question....
A: Muahahah our plan is working perfectly. Get into SC2 yet ?:p
Thanks for any help guys :)

:) There you goes

why is the room spinning?

Exhale: PLOOOM Of vapor

Inhale (room air not another hit)

Exhale: WTF more vapor!?

This is the vapor of the gods... I bought this used from a forum member but I am thinking of going ahead and buying another one because well. I like black :)

Is this happening on the SB at 3.7v? From the following questions I gather you're doing 6v on the SB. IF some of your 510s aren't working on the SB at 6v then:

What batteries are they? Protected? If they're protected then it's may be that you're tripping the protection circuit on the batteries. 510 attys will vary on resistance. usually from 2.2 - 2.4 ohms. Let's say you're batteries are charged up and at 3.6v. times two is 7.2v.
7.2v with a 2.2 ohm atty will draw about 3.3 Amps.
7.2v with a 2.4 ohm atty will draw about 3.0 Amps.

Let's say your battery pcb trips at 3.1 Amps...

Just a really slim possibility.

Make sure it is screwed down all teh way. My SB brand new didnt want to thread all the way on my attys. It took a little machine oil to work the threads properly.

Yeti's are 510 threaded. Can't say better or worse than other 510 attys.

Don't use LR attys at 6v. You can use the HV attys (higher resistance), but take a look at this chart from another post to see the wattage for each atty at a specific resistance and voltage. Red means chance of killing your atty.

Personally...i still go 2 days on a single 18650 battery that is rated for 2400mah. And I vape a lot at low resistance. The RCR123's i can discharge them in a day typically.

Average life is really hard to gauge. It depends on usage and how wet you keep the attys. Keeping them wet is absolutely essential at 6v.

Make sure the positive post on the atty is pulled down far enough to make contact in the SB adapter, other batteries can push the post too far up into the threaded collar. This happens on quite a few mods, not just the SB, it's a problem with the weak insulator in the atty combined with screwing it all the way down onto a batt with a high positive post. You could also have a short in the atty, if you can't test any more than a few tenths of resistance with a multimeter then that could be the problem, they wouldn't work on much else either if that's the case.

The QC on atties recently has not been very good. I have had to loosen the tolerance on my units to acommodate this. Some attie contacts are indeed shorter that the standard. There is one company in paticular that this seems most of thier atties are too short. I will not mention that company in this post :p
