Ok...so I have seen a few of the videos and read hours from these forums. Some people seem to draw on their e-cigs for 5 seconds or more! Did they smoke analogs like that? I laughed, at first, when I saw some complain about the 5 second cut-off on some of the e-cigs....until I saw the videos and then saw some e-cigs that offer 13 second cut-offs!! Really? I can't imagine taking a drag of any kind of cigarette for 5-13 seconds8-o. If some actually smoked analogs like that, I can see why they might complain of pains in their sides when vaping too much...good Lord!
Another Q. I have smoked for 30 years...heavily. In all that time I have always had a problem with very thick post-nasal drip...constant. Also, without Prilosec, I suffer heart burn 24/7. I'm guessing both problems are related to smoking, but I've never been able to quit long enough to really see.
Has anyone here had those problems with analogs and seen an improvement now that they are vaping?
Thanks for any input!

Yep, long term smoker here of 1-2 packs a day for 36 years. Prilosec twice a day for 6 years. The acid reflux gets better, now I take zantac before certain meals or tums after meals as needed. The post nasal drip will improve as well and I rarely take the allergy medicine prescribed for me while smoking heavily.

Regarding the draw times...e-cigs require a lighter draw to prevent the wick drying as the vapor is produced. Usually a lighter draw requires drawing longer to reach satisfaction. The automatic cutoffs at 5 seconds can be a nuisance. To defeat the cutoff in a manual, one merely engages the button then draws a mouthful, let go and re-engage it to gather another mouthful...then blow out plumes of vapor.

Happy vaping!:)

I think the length of hit has to do with the individual myself and volt or device. I am totally satisfied with a 2 to 3 second hit on my manual button from a 510. Then I won`t be hitting it for a while at times. For sure not the same to me as smoking a cig. How many hits does it take to fry a cig? 10 20 never counted that myself. I know if I hit the e-cig that many times using the 24mg juice I feel not so good. Then again I`m after the nic not the motion of smoking.
