Hi guys I am getting ready to order a Riva 510 from LF and have a few questions.

I am deciding between black and steel color and can't decide which to get yet. For you guys who have black does the does the battery nick or scatch easy or would you say it holds up very good against nicking and scatching?

I am thinking of going with the LF 510 lite bundle and ordering some Boge 2.0 cartos with will I need to order the wider cones sperate or will the Boge 2.0 work fine the stock cones fine?

Anyone know who has the Boge 2.0 cartos in stock for the Riva 510?

TIA

I own both in stainless and black and have to say that the stainless is the way to go if you want it to look great in the long run. The black will chip if it hits keys or change in your pocket but the stainless seems bombproof, hope that helps :)

Thanks for posting I am leaning toward silver but I do like the black w/gold trim.

Is there a button protector for the Riva 510 (like the eGo) and is important in your opinion and does LF sell them because I can not find them on thier website?

I have the black w/gold trim, you will get some scratching over time but it is a decent paint job.

I remove the cone for cartos.

I get Boge 2 ohm from nhaler (their LR 510 cartos) or litecigusa. lc is $8/pack, NHaler maybe $9 (if their saveinnj coupon code is back up and running -- Drew disabled it temporarily during the Darwin initial offering).

I can't believe I had such a hard time deciding which color to go with.:) After going back and forth I decided to go with the black/gold trim and extra blk cone. So I went ahead and ordered it from LF thanks to reading about them on ECF forums.

Do you guys know if they even make button protectors for the Riva 510 I couldn't find them on LF site?

Haven't seen a riva button protector and I can tell u from personal experience that the ego protector doesn't work. The ego's trim ring appears recessed but the riva has a flush ring. My black paint has chipped some. I've got a steel SE unit coming now. Ty suggests using the 901 cone for cartos. My experience has been that peeling the black contact paper off the carto works to bring them back to proper 510 diameter so get the steel color, peel the carto and u have a perfectly performing color matched silver vaping machine!

I was wondering if the ego protector would work or not so thanks for that info! Just incase you didn't see this link on the R510 SE post #436. If I buy a second kit down the road or when I need a new battery I will try the steel color and get a steel cone. I am tempted to buy a second kit in (SE) steel now but am trying hard to resist. :)

I have a button protector and they are useless, don't bother getting one. Have the titanium Riva and still looks as good as new for almost 5 months! I believe Good Prophets has the button protectors if you really want one.

Ok thanks for the info on the button protector I guess I will not be getting one then. :) Good to hear the titanium is hold up well.
