Hello All, I am a new member to the site but have been coming here often to view posts. I am fairly familiar with the e-cig world but have a few questions. Has anyone ever seen the 2 models below? If so, any thoughts?
Pocket Vapor VP-600

VaporGenie

I am asking because I am really interested in using a non-battery dependant vaporizor. From what I have seen, there is always concern with battery life and atomizers on the typical e-cig. I really like the design of the iolite but find it to be incredibly overpriced.
Thanks in advance for any replies. Great site by the way!!!

I really don't want to be dependant on batteries, hence the question. I have spent a fair amount of time researching these 2 models and am just looking to find out if anyone else has ever used them or seen them.

I really think that butane will become the new norm as it completely eliminates battery usage. A recent test was done on a common piezo ignition and it worked over 11,000 times before a spring broke, which was easily replaceable from any harware store.

I have already done tons of research on the e-cig world and know that batteries and atomizers are a huge problem. I also know that it is sometimes difficult to find replacement batteries. My first e-cig which I bought a few weeks ago was ok, but the battery life was sad. I know that a lot of users would tell me to try this model or that model but basically they all use the same technology. I have seen complaints on both battery life and atomizer life on some of the so called "best" models.

Operating temperature would be a concern for me. Our present juice is designed for vaporizing at a low temp. VG can become dangerous if heated to high temps.

Even if proven safe, I couldn't take a butane refill container on any aircraft, so it would be useless to me personally. I'll keep my batteries.

I just looked at the Pocket Vapor VP-600 Video and the Video of the other model and neither one showed any vapor. Wonder why.

I'm sure the e-cigs will evolve into something very slick and less troublesome. Sorry, I've got no experience with the ones you asked about, but thanks for introducing them to us. It'll be interesting to see if others here have one of those things and can give us some opinions! :)

Battery life / butane refill... doubt there's much difference (from experience I've had with other butane-powered devices and what I've read about butane vaporisers), plus you'd have to buy the butane.

Additionally, I really do not fancy having a butane tank in my face for however many hours a day!

I really hope that it never becomes the norm! I'd rather screw a battery on every couple / few hours of heavy vaping than having to refill a butane tank, or change a butane cartridge every couple of hours.
