A few questions

Being a relative newb to vapeing, I have a few questions. But first, bit of background. 30 something year smoker and purchased a DSE901 starter kit. Don't have any desire to go back to analogs. I'm a menthol and only menthol vaper. Love my 901 have not tried other models.

I've been trying to read this forum for a month now, and there simply is no time effective way to get threw all the threads to find the information I seek.

Now the questions:

1) are there any suppliers of USB Pass-throughs for the 901 that don't give up the ghost after a week of use? Seems the wire connectivity gets loose or something at the "ash" end and it's a PITA to get to work.

2) can PG and VG liquids be mixed together without harming the atty's?

3) what does "snus" mean?

4) would de-natured alcohol with the methanol work the same as ever clear for cleaning attys? Would it leave a bad after taste? (I can't get everclear here but in the huge jugs)

5) Suggestions for prolonging the life of 901 batteries.

6) seeking a reputable source for double flavored liquid with high nic content to cut with VG. I read about them but never see any links to distributors.

I have purchased a second USB Passthrough to keep at work and will keep my semi functional one at home here. I'm vapeing a sample of apple liquid, (all but flavorless) while I await my order from stictlyejuice.com.

I like the vapor production of using a VG mixed liquid, and the throat/lung hit of clean menthol without the burnt weed taste.

I have also purchased menthol crystals to dissolve into the VG I plan to buy if I can get information for the other part of the DYI equation.

I make flavor infused cooking oils and vinegars at home, so a bit of mixing e-liquid should not be brain surgery to me.

Any direction and or links would be appreciated.

yes there are many high quality pass thru's that are made with thicker wire i'd suggest looking at the pure smoker products.

yes, i've had no problems with mixing the two... most people use a PG based juice and cut it with VG to get an added level of vapor

just use vodka or 151 rum.... any denatured alcohol is not good to consume or vape. it could cause upset stomach at the very least, who knows what else it could cause. they denature it so people can't ingest it without getting sick.

good luck... try a battery mod for longer tiimes between charges.

dawn at DIY flavorshack sells double flavors i believe. maybe talk to geoff at tasty vapor also?

I'll second the Pure Smoker passthrough, any hardware from PS is top line equipment. I'm talking about battery mods and passthroughs, the other things come from China like everything else.
