Yes, silly title, but perhaps one of you cunning detectives can help me solve a mystery-

Ok, so this is my mother's issue, not mine. She is using a Totally Wicked Ego-C with dual coil punched carto tank, and she says that after 1+ month, and only 2 cartridge replacements, she has YET to taste even a hint of the infamous burning taste. I have a vivi nova, so I am not experiencing these problems, because the ViVi has no poly fill.

So she is beginning to realize that her e-liquid is vanishing, she would fill 1.5 ML into the tank, go into the store, take 10-15 puffs, and when she walks out the tank is half empty.

Now I told her the cartomizers have to saturate but the issue is that the cartos aren't dry when she refills the tanks. She fills them back up with at least .2/.3 ML still in the tank.

Another possible cause is the oxygen depletion/over exposure to light, but decay shouldn't take place for a couple months!

This has left me really stumped!

-Ps-

No leaking!

Richmond, Va...Right in Altria's back yard.
its absorbing into the carto. It will do that once its been used for a long time.Ive actually had cartos swell so much that a gentle nudge of the tank will make them come apart at the base.

I throw out more cartos from this because I also use a thicker vg juice than I throw them out for dying.

She claims that the disappearance is the worst at night. She would leave around 1ML in the tank, let it sit while she sleeps, and it is empty in the morning!

The carto is already saturated, this is so weird!

EDIT-

Thanks Zap!
That does make sense. Took her cartomizer apart, and it was extremely swollen. Guess we need to replace them more often than once a month!

I'm glad it is not my problem. I have had really bad experiences with poly-fill, the burn taste is like smoking an analog backwards.
To the magical ghost who is stealing my mom's e-liquid-

I've suffered from the vanishing fluid as well. So I did a simple experiment following your guy's advice. Iput a carto cap(the little rubber ones you get from blu carts" on the threads, and I took the rubber piece that you take out to put the drip tip in back in, and plugged the hole with a plastic toothpick. After seling I set draw end down so the wicking hole on the side of the cart would not be submerged in fluid and went to bed. And yet even with all of these precautions I still woke up to find most of my fluid had somehow escaped.
((((DUNN DUNNNN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!)))) Okay... So maybe not as dramatic, but still an odd one right?
