I don't DIY, but for quick flavor changes and testing, I use an IGO-L or IGO-W - with single or dual micro coils and sterile CVS cotton wick.

It is ridiculously easy to pull the cotton, dry burn the coil, and slip more cotton into the coil for the next test/flavor. Use just enough cotton to slide through the coil and just touch the base.

Get the cotton balls from the pharmaceutical section - not from the makeup section - of your favorite drug store.

ETA: The coil lasts a LONG time, so don't worry about having to rebuild the coil over and over again. Unless you like to experiment ;)

Someone beat me to it. A 510 or 306 dripper atomizer is good for testing juices. You just put a drop or two in the end and vape. It allows you to test juices and decide if you like them without loading up a tank or carto. Some use them for their better flavor production and vape with a dripper atty while sitting around watching TV or anywhere where it's convenient.

If you are in Panama City (redneck Riviera) go see these people. I've been in and met them while on vacation and they are very helpful.
