Hello

If an online shop put together a kit with MVP 2, nautilus or Kanger clearo, usb cable, few extra coils and bottle of e liquid it would be a great seller. On top of that put together some great usage instruction/guide (paper and video) and I would be sending a whole lot of people to that store/kit. It would be really good for the new members forum as a hey start here kit. If someone already does this let me know seriously. I send a few people a week onto online sites but I would love to send them to this. I think the success rate would be a lot better than some of the crappy starter sets out there.

No one kit will satisfy every user, regardless of quality or specs.

I understand that but I would feel fine sending people to a kit that was fairly future proof for most people. Lots of people start with ego and then end up going to MVP2 or similar device anyway. This skips the first step and with good instructions is not really hard to learn.

Finding information is way too difficult, honestly. This entire hobby/industry is intimating; and the people to get the most attention are the big names like Blus. It's funny that most of the best devices and juices are virtually INVISIBLE. When I started, I thought the only reputable company were the ones like Blus; since all of the material, guides, and websites are terribly designed and do not, whatsoever, instill confidence.

I don't think the issue is with a company not providing a kit - though I think that would be a great idea. The issue is with education. What's the point of a kit like that if nobody knows who Innokin is? Or someone who purchases a Blu over an MVP because Innokin's website is anemic and looks more like a parked domain than a real company? This is the real problem here - we need some sort of representation that can outshine the big names, or, atleast get quality information across instead of being focused entirely on profit.

Someone needs to start a website that is clean, well designed, modern and instills confidence: showing that vaping is a legitimate industry. It needs to educate people on the different styles of e-cigs, the industry as a whole, and what brands to trust.

I know this information is out there: after all, I found it. But it seems like it's haphazardly presented and not consolidated.

Hell; why doesn't start something like CASSA (who's website is an example of what I'm talking about as far as poor design), but for e-cig education in general and geared towards the public, and not enthusiasts?

If I may add a couple of thoughts as someone that has been enjoying vaping for just over a month.

I lurked in here, scoured the web and looked at a ton of youtube clips before I got my svd. Is it a top o'da line device? No but it was what I decided to start with. I co-worker got a starter kit at Wally World and I decided that I wanted to start with something a bit more advanced...

Would a site like has been mentioned above be helpful for those of us that are new? You bet your bippy...would I have chosen something other than an svd? Who knows... I do know that it would have been "easier" to just go to one site as opposed to numerous sites and numerous pages of hand written notes.

I say it would be an EXTREMELY useful idea that needs to become reality.

Yeah, I agree: I started a thread to get a feeling about what this community thinks of this idea over here:

Sadly I dont agree with ordering online for items that I cant try. I know I'm probably an oddball here. I find go to local store's websites (who doesn't like supporting local businesses anyways) and jot down some ideas of what you'd like to look at. Go to the store, do it during the day in the middle of the week when you are less likely to enter a full store. Tell the CSR that you need a lot of help choosing a kit that will keep you happy for more than 2-3 weeks (I switched up from my starter kit in 2 week my husband switched his in about 4 days). I find that stores that have their own line of juices and sell other lines are the best. I have found a store that I have to drive an hour to get to however it is 100% worth it! They have steered me in the right direction on sooooooo many misnomers I've found from in person sources and internet sources. Sadly if you're not near a store then you're in what i would consider a bad situation. But I find that talking to someone that shows a passion in what they are selling (not just trying to make a sale) will not steer you wrong.
