Ok I have not been around these parts for a while but I thought I'd come and say what I think of the sapphire bud from GotVapes*why bud makes me think of weed*.
Ok first impressions out of box:
I like the look of them, wish I could have a regular drip tip right out of box without modding but in vaping world Modding is your friend. It was easy to set up and fill, I'm a ce2 person and this was very surprising on how easy it was to fill.
The Extras:
I also got the special cone and regular cap. I thought I'd try something since i liked the look of the cone w/cap, I put a ce2 in my ego and then put the cone and cap on. it fit perfectly and I could see through the window how much juice I had. It is a GREAT thing to buy even if you do not like the sapphire, the cone itself is great. Regular ego cones with xl ce2's always leave about a inch of tube exposed, this cone is almost flush with the bottom of the drip tip and cone fits perfect over.
Now One thing I don't like, maybe it is just mine I am not saying it is a bad product at all, it as I said may just be mine but the cap for the cone is umm rough to screw on to the cone. It screws on, but its very tight while screwing as tho its not uniform threading. Its fine, I had some ky jelly *dont ask* in my computer drawer and it helped lube the cap on. And when the sapphire is in, the caps window doesnt line up with the window on the sapphire tape so I cannot see the juice level unless I screw it a little or remove the tape but I am leaving the tape on, I like that look. it is probably only because each device ego, saber touch, random other mods have different threading so maybe on some devices the windows would align right. That is just a issue with looking, doesn't and wont effect performance.
Now for the sapphire itself:
Ok I have filled it with the vapor rooms blueberry crumble. As I said I am a ce2 man so I am more of a flavor person. I put the juice in and let it sit for about 5 mins while I watched the hickup and farting cat on youtube a few times...that vid always makes me laugh.
Anyway, After soaking I took my first 'toot' on a standard ego battery. Flavor is there, not as brilliant in flavor as a normal ce2 would bring but its there enough to satisfy my taste. I have also noticed a primer taste periodically so I would advice cleaning it out first. It is not too cool, not too warm. I never had a throat hit so I cannot comment on that stuff but it does still give great flavor. It might be one of the only things I'd switch from ce2 for.
So in closing I give this tube
