Vapeing is starting to give me something like indigestion or acid-reflux.

I learned the term "agita" from my Jewish Italian friend so, I've never been sure if it was Yiddish or Italian, but I always say, "ah, I think that gave me a littile agita." when I feel it. It's not full-blown heartburn, but it's somewhere on the road between what you get from spicy meatballs and jalapeno enchiladas verde.

Over the past couple of days, it seems like I'm getting "a little agita" from my vp. They are the typical mall stick variety with batts/cartomizers that seem to be on their last legs after only a little over a week's use. Also, it could be just me, but it seems like the sweeter juices are more likely to get it going.

I thought about picking up a roll of tums (no WAY I'm giving up No.7 Blueberry). I just thought I'd ask around here to see if anybody else gets this.

Are you using 100% PG? And how much nicotine?

Nicotine is a skin irritant and 100% PG lets the flavor, Th and irritation through best. Some people get sore mouth, throat or lungs. Try juices with 20% VG if you are using cartos, 20-30% for tanks, 20-50% for normal atomizers.

Too much nicotine can cause headache, rapid or irregular heartbeat, sick feeling. (and you can overnic yourself on even a lower nic level if you vape enough - testing samples would always get me)

But yeah - eliquid can give a bit of gas too like burping. If you are using atomizer and cart try cartomizers which are less likely to dump juice in your mouth. Brush your teeth more often to remove vapor residue. Drink plenty of fluids. it doesn't hurt to take vitamins when you start vaping, as you loose the 4000 chemicals in cigs. If you find yourself vaping constantly, what I do is leave my ecigs in another room with my Kindle and go there for a vape and to read a few pages - very pleasant. If you find yourself ever gulping the vapor of food vapor flavors, pay attention and try to prevent that. And you may want to avoid food flavors or mix them with tobacco flavors for now. In the beginning it was like I would stop paying attention and my mouth would be tricked into swallowing because of the yummy peach or whatever flavor.

I read in a really old post by someone that nicotine makes your stomach think you've just eaten something and therefore it produces acid to process that food which in turn gives us indigestion. Now I didn't get it with analogs so I'm not sure if this is true but it made sense at the time :). I too get it with ecigs but usually when I'm vaping too much and it happens with almost any juice.

I alternate vaping something sweet and something not sweet and don't seem to get burping at all now. But I do also have my nicotine lower now. Much lower. I worked my way down from 18mg to 4mg, starting about 3 months after I started vaping. I didn't plan to drop it but some other part of my brain wanted to drop a level right after the larger shopping part of my brain spent $50 on old level juices....

Oh, my gosh...you are getting me hungry now. I haven't had Red, White and Green Jalapeno Enchiladas...in a long time:p
And...my husband, he is Italian and I love his famous Italian Meatballs...they're delicious, with extra crackers and parsley.
Agita...that's my husbands' favorite word, he's always saying it.

I actually have GERD...I take Nexium - The Purple Pill and it does work. My Primary Physician is aware that I am no longer smoking...and that I now use a PV.
You can try Canada Dry...let it go flat first and then drink it with a little ice. Pepto Bismol also works...for some, not for me...I don't like it all that much.
Good Luck!
