Received an order of carts yesterday afternoon and something just isn't quite right. The first one I tossed on was a Cappucino and it had a burnt taste from the get go. I kind of wrote it off and continued to puff on it and about 20min later of moderate vaping, the thing was burnt toast. I pulled off the cap to check and the top was completely dry, but when I pushed down a little on the fill, there was definitely still juice in there.

I figured maybe it was a bad cart and tossed on a Pear. First of all, the Pear was filled with Pineapple? I checked a couple of the other Pears and every single one I tried was Pineapple. So I figured no big deal, I will puff it down and refill with Pear. I puffed on it at my regular pace and what do you know? Ten minutes later I taste the dreaded "burnt marshmallow / buttered popcorn". The cart was absolutely toast, yet once again there was still juice left in the cart.

For some reason this new shipment of carts needs topping off before I even toss it on for the first time, and then need to be topped off very often after that. I did not mention any of my problems to my fiance, but today she came home from work and told me that her new Red Cow and Vanilla carts don't taste the same. I asked her... "what do they taste like?" and she replied... "they don't have nearly as much flavor and they all taste burnt".

Not trying to rain on any parade here, but I am seriously frustrated. I have actually gone to plucking through older carts that I have saved. The older ones are hitting just fine, but I don't have very many of them left. Getting a little worried here. The dreaded analog might be eminent in the near future.

Anybody else notice anything strange like this with any of their new carts? Anyone know of a fix?

I PM'd Steve about this exact same problem earlier. My Capp carto's taste like ... (my exact words to Steve). I thought I just got a dud, so I tried another and it was the same way. I informed Steve that he must have got a bad batch. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm sure Steve will make it right though.

Guy's it is very strange, those are the older carts, look at the dates, I am still waiting for delivery on most of the new shipment.;)

As always, I will replace, but, am sending this thread to the factory as well. I will try some of them tomorrow. I can yell you, I used some of the 36mg cappuccino, menthol, kant, mint, coffee, today....all highest strength I have, and have had none of these issues. Please, email me, and we will figure this out, I will try the strengths you guy's are using, and give my honest assessment.

I hope to have 6 new flavors tomorrow, if all go well:shock:

I will of course make everthing right:D

Steve

Well, in a weird way, I'm glad to see this post. I've had exactly the same problems with my new batch of carts as well. They just aren't the same!! As RyGuy said, burnt taste far too soon and having to top off way too often. And no real flavor which is probably the most disappointing thing of all. Thought maybe it was just me but obviously not.

Hmmmm. I wonder if this is MY flavor problem? I've been complaining that my taste buds went nuts since yesterday. Everything I have tried is new since it was delivered yesterday --blueberry cartos, pear cartos, coffee juice and Doc Pepper juice. I don't have any old carts or juice left, so I can't do a comparison right now. Of course, I don't know for SURE if this is the problem, but now I'm wondering... lol.

ETA: Steve, I'm not expecting you to do anything as far as replacements regarding my issues because I simply don't know if the problem is the juice or if it's me, so please don't take this as a request for replacements. It's definitely not!

In my very first order I ordered cappuccino 36, raspberry 36, and strawberry 36. They all tasted the same "gross". I thought it was just my taste buds not working right. Then after reading more here I learned the higher nic the less flavor. So I placed another order and got some different flavors and lower nic. Apple 16, vanilla 24, and mboro 24. WOW what a difference. They are so GOOD. I'm still not sure if its the high nic in those first ones I got or what, because they still taste gross and my taste buds are working better now. So now here I sit waiting for my new order with more flavors in lower nic to come. I'm hooked and loving it.

Same thing with me NMJ, I ordered all 36 at first and I'm waiting on lower nic mg. I need 36 for quick vaping on the go, so I am happy with them, I knew they would probably be harsher tasting due to the high mg.

I'm not having any trouble with carts running out quickly or any burnt taste. They seem to last and last. I don't have anything to compare to, but I've only been able to completely empty one carto so far, that I refilled. I am switching around a lot. I vape a LOT.

The peach cobbler I got in 18 mg is awesome.

Pear - 11
Red Cow - 8
Cap - 11
Vanilla - 11

Out of these 4, the Vanilla tastes the most like it should, yet still a little weak in the flavor department. I know you'll make it right Steve. The main reason that I posted this was to see if anyone else was having the same problem and make sure that I wasn't just going crazy, which I honestly thought I was there for a little while. I am honestly so relieved to find out that I don't need to go in for a cat scan or anything LOL.

Can anyone tell me what an RY4 cart is supposed to taste like?
Both of mine taste burnt to me, but I've never tasted "RY4" before so I don't know what it's supposed to taste like. It's 24mg for these two, but I got these as freebies so I can't complain :p
My menthol carts taste fantastic, french pipe is good, and cappucino is good, just way harsh on the throat :$

RY4 is supposed to have a caramel flavor to it. I've vaped a couple of different ones, and they both sort of taste like a tobacco flavor with caramel. Hope that makes sense. I've not tried ry4 in the cartomizers, though.

Oh, wait! Yes I have tried the cart! Got one as a sample in my order. It's not nearly as strong as what I had out of the bottles I ordered before and it is not as sweet, either. I've got 36 mg. in the carto. The other I had was 24 mg.

What mg do you have?

All my carts were 24mg. But I've never had it before, so I don't know if this is what it supposed to taste like. I thought it was supposed to taste like caramel, but this definitely doesn't. Meh, but like I said, they were freebies, so I'm not too concerned about it. I'll try them again in a couple days, and if I still don't like it, I'll just fill 'em up with some different juice.

I've got a couple of flavors that I didn't like when I first tried them, going back to them now, they're starting to grow on me. Peanut butter cup is one. ry4 is a mainstay of a lot of vapers from what I understand, so maybe the mg need to be reduced to really get a good flavor from the carts. I really like ry4 in general, I can use it all day long and not get tired of it.

I got some 36mg coconuts that were oddly built and didnt work quite right. You know how the cartomizer is supposed to be nice and flush on top (when you pull the cap to refill)...the first one i had go bad too fast i popped off the cap and removed the little rubber washer and the center insulator was sticking up above the batting like..1/8th inch or so. All the others are that way too and i presume they'll insta-die too..but hard to be certain till i try'em.
oddly enough none of the others i got were goofed up in the least...just those 36 coconuts are baking too fast, and I presume'd that was why.
