A Little Disapointed

Hey guys,

So long story short I got my starter kit (M400) last week and have been waiting for my e-juice to come. It arrived today. I orderd from myPVShop.com and got a sampler.

Almond
Pepsi
Cappuccino
Menthol (12mg)
Cherry

These are all 0mg except where noted.

I'm a little let down by what I found. I started with the cappuccino and couldn't really taste it. I switched to the cherry and though it was sweet it didn't taste strongly of cherry. I tried a direct drip on the atty and it was a little better but still. I just put the pepsi in and same deal. With a direct drip it kinda tastes like pepsi but if I didn't know, I wouldn't know.

Are my expectations too high? Is this juice crap? People say the french toast tastes like french toast or whatever. Do these flavors taste like a hint of what they're supposed to be or do they taste like what they are supposed to be.

I'm not really in this for the nicotine (as you can guess). I love to smoke and I love the idea of the different tastes. I love hookahs for this reason. They're smooth and full of flavor. Is it unfair for me to expect this out of my PV?

In my experience the juices I have tried have tasted delicious, some were stronger flavors than others, but Ive always gotten a good flavor with my 510. A lot of different variables can change how good the flavor tastes, like PV model 510, Kr8, 901 etc., whether the juice is made with VG or PG, voltage, low resist attys, new atties etc. etc. I'm fairly new to vaping myself so I don't want to give bad info, but search through the forums a bit. I'm not familiar with M400, but it may just be your set up, or it may just be the juices arent that great.

Welcom to the club, I've been at this since july but still haven't found a really good flavor juice. But I still haven't smoked any cigs either. Some more flavor has started coming, just not too much. The strongest juice out there is Tasty Vapor Atomic Cinnacide, but it's not one I can use too much. Hopefully more flavor will come thru with the next juices I buy.....

All my e liquids or mixes have tasted nice, some have been a bit off base with what they are supposed to be, but all have been nice and most spot on!

I have found Ms T's, Gourmet Vapor, and Freedomsmoke USA to be the most "full" flavored. Backwoods Brew, Vaporrenu and strictly e juice to be delicious but a little more subtle. I thought I would like the flavored stuff better, but keep going back to BWB MaxBoro FSUSA MaxBoro to be my go to vapes. jm2c

I've been getting my juice from VaporBomb and the only ones I don't like so far are Maraschino and Wild Cherry. They remind of that stuff the dentist rubs on your gums to get them numb. Yuk!

If you like coffee Vapor Bomb lets you customize it to your liking. You can add cream and sugar if you like. And their coffee is delicious, black or double double!!

If you are new to vapping give your taste buds some adjustment time over the first 6 weeks or so the taste you get from your juice can and will change quite a bit. Don't give up hang in it will bet better and tastier.

Hi. If you're going for taste, you might have greater success with a KR808 model and a really good cartomizer like the Gold Label cartomizers from CigEasy or the premium cartomizers from Vapor4Life. Now here's the disclaimer ... I have never tried these brands myself (yet) because I'm a vaping newbie and am not much of a flavor hound to begin with. I've just seen a lot of reviews and heard from others that the Gold Label and premium Vapor4Life cartos give oodles of flavor. I hope this helps.

I am not familiar with the M401 either. I just looked at it on a site. My suggestion would be to get nicotine - if you need it - and consider a passthrough to maybe get more consistent hits while home. LiteCigUSA has them for $12 bucks, for instance.

Opps.... I just noticed that you are NOT into it for the nicotine... I read it wrong. Not sure why someone would want to vape if they are not addicted. I would keep my cash in my pocket considering i have just spent $300 on 3 different kits, cartomizers, liquid, etc. etc. etc..... LOL

I just started vaping again after a week long break. I was waiting for new eGo and 510 and some juice. I ordered six different flavors, all tasted the same horrible, to me. That was yesterday. Today I'm actually enjoying the mint chocolate cookie I got. I'm still reluctant to retry any others just yet. Give your buds time, they'll come around. Also, a new atty taste like poop for a bit. When I get that poop taste, it takes me forever to get it gone.8-o

I know , I can't believe how many times when I first started everything tasted like it was made of cardboard. There are still days where things just seem a bit off but it comes back around.

I'm using an M40x and find that the amount and realism of the flavor varies greatly. Is the stuff you got American or Chinese made? I have some Dekang stuff that was initially blah, but has gotten better after sitting a couple weeks. On the other hand, my current favorite, BWB Cherry Tobacco was great from the start. Couldn't place it at first, but then realized it tasted exactly like cherry Skoal.

Chimney55, no I'm not smoking analogs. I never really had a big habit and hadn't been smoking them for several months before discovering e-cigs. Maybe the occasional one while out drinking but whatever.

TheBuss, the thing is my habit was always more centered around the ACT of smoking, not so much the nicotine. I've never had a "nic fit", I never got cravings, and the times that I've decided to quit, I quit. But I LOVE to smoke. So when I found out about e-cigs, realized that I could smoke without nicotine and get some cool crazy flavors too I figured I'd check it out.

I bought the 40x largely because it had the best PCC. I know everybody talks about the mods and I've seen the eGo and it sounds great, but it kinda works against what I'm going for. I want to be able to be out and not get stared at. If I'm at a bar or casino I want to be incognito (hey that rhymes ).

I ordered 3 juices from TastyVapor.us. I talked to Geoff and he made some reccomendations when I told him what I was looking for. We'll see what happens in a week.

Also, I got the chance to fill some carts last night, what a pain in the ...! Dripping is simple with this model as it has an exposed bridge, but that's not really a portable solution... so the disappointment continues. I'm sure it's just this model. We'll see when the other juice comes. If I don't like it I think I'm done with this whole thing.

if you FLAVORFULL juices go with tasty vapor or ms t's, i have tried numerous vendors and these are THE BEST around, good luck and welcome to the forum!!!!!!!

Flavor of your juice has just as much to do with the device as the juice itself. If you are using a small low power device, most times you will not get the full benefit of the taste, not to mention vapor the juices were made to give. Hope I'm not restating what someone else already posted ( I didn't see it anywhere ). If you really want to taste your juice, pull out the big guns.

Personally I would not vape if I was not trying to quit smoking it is just too much of a hassle.

As for juice's taste it's all in the supplier. When you get your tasty vapor you will see the difference.
