I decided on getting a Kanger ProTank II mini kit with Evod VV batteries 650Mah at vape Dojo but they are out of stock.
Kanger Mini Protank 2 Starter Kit -VV

I found a very similar kit at Deluxe Vapes with the only big difference being the batteries. This kit has the ego-twist batteries with a choice of 650 or 900 Mah.
Kanger Mini Protank Starter Kit | eGo-C Starter Kit |eGo Twist Battery| Ego Clearomizer | Ego W Kit

Any reason to pick one over the other. The prices are close enough. Also is it worth getting the 900 batt over the 650? I would like to keep these in my pant and shirt pockets. Being one is in stock I could order that one now instead.

Thanks

I love the first kit

it is genuine kanger battery & mini protanks

2nd has mini pt, but clone VV batteries-might work great, might give troubles

another choice if you don't wait for 1st kit :

good luck :)

So the eGo twist batteries aren't as good or authentic?

Your link has them but for quite a bit more unfortunately.

I also just realized the 2nd kit I'm looking at has a mini Protank I. I may just wait it out till its back in stock.

If you get the 650 battery, it won't be long before you buy the 900 mAh battery, or even 1100 mAh. Battery life is everything. So, too, are a good topper, like your Protank II, and strong juice (at first) to power through the cravings. Finding good juice is often harder than finding good gear. When in doubt, always get the best gear you can. ALWAYS. It will save along the way. Also, like most things in life, the better gear costs the most. Go figure. Welcome to the Forum. Congrats on quitting, power up and vape on!

Well I just figured out that at Deluxe Vapes I could choose my own kit config so I can get 2 eGo-twist 900 Mah batteries and 2 Mini Protank II's for 68.99.

That might work.

I'm still quite new to the vaping community, but from my limited experience...that sounds like a winner. I started with 2 650mah batteries and learned very quickly they were too "small/weak" for my use. I ended up charging them multiple times a day :(

I loved the mini pt II. Happy vaping!

Sounds like you've gotten some good advice from others here. My needs seem to be simple, so I'm using a Kanger MT3S BCC with an EGO T upgraded battery (I think 1000mah). The friend who turned me on to vaping stressed the importance of battery life and for that I am grateful. I've never run out of battery during the day which is way cool.

Well in addition to the eGo Twist/mini Protank kit I ordered I simply couldn't resist the deal at 101 Vape for the MVP so I grabbed one as well. Now I have 2 sets for redundancy.:D

Yeah, the MVP 2 deal is a steal. I suspect you will find that the eGo Twist kit will sit mostly unused, once you start vaping with the MVP 2, but at least they will make for great backup batteries!

Well I may use the eGo while on the road and MVP at home. At least that's the plan. Nice thing is all my tanks will be interchangeable.
