i have been blending stock juice to adjust the levels to my needs. i like to end up with NIC 14 and 35% pg. given the inconsistency issues with most juice vendors, i have been thinking about making from scratch. but it is a little intimidating. i can do the math but don't understand some basics. for example, one flavor supplier says to mix their flavoring to 15-40%. is that the amount of flavoring as a percent of total volume? should i start with 100 mg and cut to end up with 14 mg? appreciate any help

15% I could almost buy, but 40% is just ridiculous. Try Inawera and Flavour Art where you'll be using more like 1-3%. I find I like those better anyway. Yes, being able to do math will make it easy to cut 100mg nicotine. It's the cheapest, why not use it? Really, if you can do math, DIY e-juice is about as laughably easy as riding a bicycle. Don't be intimidated at all.

I would suggest you take a look at the DIY Recipe Sub-forum and find a few recipes that look good to you and then order those ingredients. I buy most of my flavors in small 8ml bottles from Wizard Labs until I'm sure I like the flavor. I've also used RTS vapes, others have used Bull City Vapor. Shop around for the Brands and flavors you're interested in until you find what's best for you. I would also recommend you download a calculator I use http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/480587-new-calculator-try.html. Hope this helps:)
