Thanx.. 23G.. I'm just keeping it simple for now. My Steamboat is 3 post and I like both.. the cloud production is better on the Royal hunter. Which is what I was looking for. Ive been intrested in the Mutation X V4.. or a doge.. dunno plenty of vaping to do.
From a person who has both the mutation x v4 & doge v2, the mutation x v4 fully open is the airiest vape I've ever had. Closing the sides and only using bottom airflow is great on flavor (running fused Claptons). The one thing I find to be a pain is that it is really easy to flood with the bottom airflow open. It's a great RDA, don't get me wrong.
The doge v2 is monster for chucking clouds, even with dual fused Claptons on that too. The flavor lacks a bit, but I tend to keep my air flow wide open on it. Quality is top notch with the posts & extra center post/insulators/center pin that it comes with.
What are you looking to get out of either of those rda's?

My Dark Horse is very airy on wide-open for my Dual Claptons, .13 I think.... (Not suggesting this at all, just my cloud chaser set-up).

But for the most part, I run my dual 24g coils at .2ohm for daily use (Juice Chugger) at 80watts. It works VERY well with the 3slots open (Not wide open slots).

I LOVE my Dark Horse with the wide bore chuff cap.

Looking for monster clouds. I'm currently practicing the Clampton build but the reviews of the mutation X v4 keep popping up every time I research. It's usually mutation X / doge / and or somthing new.. I've takin a few pulls of the Doge and it's clouderific but I'm just intrested in the Mutation X V 4 .. so far I hear a consistent "Air flow" either love it or hate it.

About the airflow on the Mutation X v4 - it's so adjustable that you need to find how you like it set. I've been using the bottom airflow only with the sides closed off. Cloud production is decent at that. For bigger clouds I'll use the bottom and one row of holes on the sides. It's all about how you want your vape to feel. With the airflow fully open, bottom and sides, it's way too airy for my liking.
