A little help starting diy

To start I have read the DIY section and still a little confused.

1. Is vapingzone's nic at 500ml 100mg nic actually 100mg ?

2. Should I get pg or vg based nic? {looking for a strong flavor but decent vape maybe a 70pg30vg eliquid?}

3. If I do a 70 pg 30 vg will my flavor come threw a lot more or what % should I do my flavor at to get a "O yea that's blue berry flavor" undeniable flavor? { I make 6mg liquids for my self 0 for wife}

4. Any other tips for a starter?{I have done a lot of research and local store doesn't suit my flavor needs and at $7.50 a 10 ml for something I'm ok with ain't cutting it. Tried a juice from vapedudes online and their 50/50 extra flavor 6mg nic 10ml barely has a flavor at all.}

1. Not sure I have never used them.
2. I prefer Pg.
3. 70 30 is a good ratio for that. However there will be some throat hit with that amount of pg. But generally pg is a better flavor carrier.

Be careful witj your percentages of flavoring. Start low and add more as you need it. Start at about 5 to 10 percent. If you put too much flavoring it will actually taste very faint instead of what we are expecting. Which would be a veey strong flavor.

1. Never tried Vapingzone so no idea. I think that a lot of DIYers here believe that Wizard Labs has about the best nic base, and it's always tested consistent with everyone that checks. They also have good prices on professional flavors. Wizard Labs

2. With PG/VG blends I don't think it matters all that much for just every day use. To give you an example, I make one 30 ml bottle of 10 mg juice in 70% PG, 30% VG with 15% flavor at a time. If I mixed it with PG base I would use 10 mls of plain PG in it and 9 ml of plain VG. If I mixed it with VG base I would use 15 mls of PG and 4 ml of VG. One caveat though, if you're going to stock up on base and want to put it in the freezer (suggested method for keeping long term, see the DIY forum for directions) then you probably want to buy it in VG as it freezes better.

2. As I mentioned, my favorite blend is 70% PG, 30% VG with 15% Flavor Apprentice flavoring typically, and the flavor strength is just right for me, but taste is definitely subjective. Get yourself some 5 ml bottles and play around with it. Use a single flavor, like blueberry, and make it in several different blends. The rule of thumb is that PG carries flavor better, has more throat hit, but doesn't produce as much vapor. VG is sweeter and makes tons of vapor, but mutes flavors.

As for tips;
Don't forget the gloves and eye protection if you're going to use 100 mg per ml. If you get any on your skin remove it immediately.
Set aside a place where you're not going to get bumped, and where you can minimize spills. For example, mix on a large tray with a lip.
Buy small bottles of flavoring at first and mix in 5 ml batches first, find out what you like out of each brand and flavor mix before you move on to bigger bottles.
Some flavors need time to age. If you're not sure, search the DIY forum. Someone has probably posted it.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. The only stupid one is the one not asked.

In regards to this, The only problem with WLabs is they have been out of stock for almost 3 months( as I said a lot research that's how i found them). The second place I've seen thrown around here is vapingzone and they are only 10 bucks more on their 100mg. But my danger is I don't make just for me, I don't wanna get my wife or family sick cause they like a 36 and it came out like 728mg(over exaggeration I know). I'm looking to buy around November would Wlabs have it by then or any eta n when ? I know they have recently moved and had to pull from their online stock or at least that's what I've heard.

You can use 100mg nic just fine from my understanding.

For the love of everything holy, be careful when mixing 100mg nicotine.

Protective eyewear, latex/plastic gloves, mask, long sleeve shirt, and plenty of ventilation.

I dunno...great question though. I went with them on advice from a veteran here because WL is out of all mg nic & their pricing was much better that the others recommended. The reviews on it were good. I planned on getting the nic test kit and verifying it for myself though.

lol funny but where is a good place to get a gallon of vg for around 20 bucks? vaping zone is out thier d*mn minds if they think they are getting 60$ for 1 gallon from me lol.


Not to mention is there bad vg? like something i need to know about it i see some food and some saying skin care .

I got my VG from Amazon. It was $11.45/qt or $40/gallon shipped. I also got my PG from there as well. The VG came with a Kosher certification from a Rabbi!

I ALWAYS test my flavorless Nic Base regardless of whom I buy it from.

I prefer pg, It's thinner and much easier to work with, especially If you store it in the freezer.
They say vg based has a longer shelf life.

I use that ratio but haven't experimented much in a while. Mix up a small amount of 70%vg and compare them.

Store nic in the freezer in glass with as little air in the bottle as possible.
Heating fresh mixtures in a cup of hot water to thin them to shake helps to mix them thoroughly
You can label the plastic bottles with a sharpie. It wipes right off with pg/vg, leaving only a slight yellow tint.
Mix in the sink, so spills can be dealt with easily.

WL is out of all mg nic
I think they mix their stuff weekly. In stock tue or wed, and then start running out in a couple days starting with highest strength, biggest bottle. I always order long before I need it because their nic, pricing and packaging can't be beat anywhere. Free shipping at around $70-$75. Sucks their other stuff is so unpredictable. But even if you only order 1 flavor, it's under $4 shipped.

Wizard has been re-stocking every week or two. I had no trouble buying from wizard about 2 weeks ago by signing up for email notification when the re-stocked. The highest strength solutions sell out very quickly. Personally, I don't see the need to risk handling 100mg/ml and am happy with 48mg/ml. The cost is nearly the same if you take into account the extra "free" PG or VG you get with the lower concentrations.

If fact, if you look at RTS pricing (always in stock there), a liter of 48mg is less expensive than half a liter of 100mg. You end up with nearly the same total mg of nicotine. Why risk handling the higher strength until/unless you have the experience to be absolutely certain you can do so safely?

Perfumer's Apprentice carries gallons of USP VG for $25.00, which is the best deal I've seen onsite.
