A little help with a Vamo upgrade

I started with a Blue Label Fifty One starter kit years ago, before I knew what vaping really was and just wanted to cut down on smoking. Then of course moved on to an "Ego" from a vender in my hometown who knew nothing of vaping and turned out he was selling clones (very overpriced and bad juice). Anyways I am happy where I am now with my juice choices and my Vamo with a real Ego-C Twist 1100mah and a Smoktech (do not know the name but similar to the Ego, same size and adjustability) My fiancé just bought herself a Cool Fire IV and WOW the thing puts my Vamo to shame. I love the way this works and looking for something similar for me. I am looking at the Kanger Subox Mini Starter Kit. Any advice on what would be a next step up from the Vamo. I do not want to buy the Cool Fire mainly because everyone is buying them now that we have a proper local vender and it's their number one seller (I know a childish reason, but I like to get stuff that not everyone has) The Kanger Subox looks awesome to me. I usually use 1.5 or 2.0 attys in my Kanger Pro Tank III and Aspire Nautilus mini and they work great on my fiancé's Cool Fire. I need to upgrade to something now that I see how far stuff has come and could use some advice. Thanks in advance and sorry for the novel I just typed

Wow that is pretty nice. I have never done the temp control thing though. I just got used to the VV/VW do you think it would be to much for me? I have to admit I burned a lot of attys in the early stages of my Vamo and do not much if anything about the low ohm coil stuff.

I think the SUBOX Mini kit is a Great Set-Up/Upgrade.

Because you have the Ability to use the Pre-Built OCC Heads. But Also get the RBA Section so you can Try Your Hand at making your own coil.

Temp control is simple. Just adjust the temp to get the vape you want. Start at around 400 degrees f, and go up or down from there to get the vapor temp, flavor and clouds you are looking for. You just have to use the right coils. I have a Snow Wolf 200 and love it. If you want to be the only one around with a certain mod, they came out with a Limited edition shortly after I got mine...

I wouldn't not buy something cause it sells well.. That's usually the sign of a good product. But it depends on what you want. Do you want removable batteries, or internal? The ipv mini 2 is great. The d2 has temp control. The evic vt looks really cool. My favorite setup is the mini 2 and a delta 2 with the rba coil.

Yeah, it's not that I want to be the only one with a certain mod, I just don't want to buy the same thing everyone does because "it's the best." Hard to explain but there is like an elitist attitude towards vaping at my college and most of my area. I would have stayed with my Vamo (which makes me the .... of most jokes at school) if not for the performance that the cool fire has. Like I said hard to explain, but now that vaping is big in my area, I don't like to argue about who has what and why they are better than others, which seems to be the topic at college. I just like to not smoke anymore and enjoy the flavor.

Not following the crowd can be fun too. I bought my SW knowing that I hadn't seen one around. I didn't feel the need to be like all the hipsters around here with mech mods that look like they could be C3P0's genitalia. No robot fellatio for me. Lmao. When I pull up to the vape shop and see 2 Prius, a Mini Cooper, a smart car and a Fiat 500 in the lot, I'm glad I drove the backhalved, wheelie bar equipped Nova. Different is good.

Provari's are supposed to be awesome if you have the $ for them. You probably won't see a lot of them because they are expensive. Tesla makes some decent gear. eBay is a great place to window shop. Just search "mod" and a thousand items will pop up. Find what you like, then google it to find a reputable supplier.

If you find something you like there, I would suggest finding another place to buy. Some of the folks on eBay are reputable, but a lot of them are just jackwagons selling cheap Chinese clones out of their mom's basement in crackville. If you want to buy off eBay, research the seller. Look for an actual store location you can find online outside of eBay. And check up on them for reviews and complaints. But I would suggest looking at the list of retailers at the top of this page. They are all trusted sources.

Be Careful buying e-Cigarette (or Anything) on e-Bay.

Many people Assume because it is on e-Bay that they are going to get a Good Deal. But Many Times you can get the Same or a Better Price by going with an ECF Registered Supplier.

And e-Bay is Dicey about selling e-Cigarette Gear. Because Technically, e-Cigarette Hardware is Not Allowed on e-Bay. Even though there are 1,000's of listing for stuff.

Make sure you Understand the Return Policy of an e-Bay Seller. Or ANY Retailer for that matter.

I purchase on ebay all the time and its usually the best deal when shipping is factored in.

The thing with ebay is that their policy against tobacco products is a technicality. They might delete the listing after you purchase but you are still covered under their buyer protection policy and when you go to create a ticket the option to select the vaping purchase is there even if the listing itself is not viewable. So you're protected, and its usually a very good price. I've tried to purchase off other sites but with shipping and whatnot ebay is still the cheapest.

As for authenticity, vaping is littered with frauds but I haven't been burned yet. Things that are clones say clone. My friend bought a Nautilus mini off of a ecf vendor and it was a counterfeit. They made it right and it wasn't my transaction so I won't mention who but it can happen anywhere. Most sellers probably don't even know when they are selling clones since the authenticity codes are sometimes so good they work and we can argue that all this crap comes out of the same factories or that the clones aren't really clones they are just gray market or whatever.... Anyways, ebay is as safe if not safer than some other vaping sites considering the guaranteed refund and whatnot. It's not good to be a seller on ebay sometimes, but that's what makes the buyer the most protected.
