Not sure if anyone has experienced this or not: I often unscrew the bottom cap of the IP when not in use. At times it appears finicky and get no red light, then when contact is made barely the light might flicker or stay red but then goes out. Screwing the cap on fully tight (not over tightened), nada. This has happened a couple mornings when changing batteries. Was running awesome all day long, went down to watch a movie, turned it off for a bit (as I was munching..LOL) and couldn't get it back on again.

I loosened the bottom cap, tapped it on my other hand, even removed the batts, even put 1A & 1B in opposite (no not upside down) and still nada. Then after messing around with it for a few minutes, it arbitrarily works...beats me.

The connection between tube and bottom cap are clean as in no residue. Thought maybe someone had some suggestions.

Thanks!

BTW...it's working now....and the VR Kentucky blends go really really good with adult beverages.....LOL

Kempo...this is for you................

You put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up and say, Doctor..................:)

Thanks Bov....I did take a microfiber and wipe both the bottom contact part of the tube and the outer ring of the cap. I hadn't thought of turning the spring screw to and fro...will get my jewelers sd and do that next. It's working great right now but has on occasion acted a bit goofy....kind of like its owner.....:)

Check for the battery and pv terminals being clean. Sometimes you can build a little grunge on the batteries or the spring top, or on the brass center post, the positive contact that the top battery touches

Battery contacts and top of spring are first to try; clean with a cloth or pencil eraser and see if that takes care of it. If not them, a pencil eraser gently on the brass contact top. The brass is a little tube that stands up from the center, you can check with a flashlight first to see if it looks gummy
