I was thinking you could maybe make that little extension thread into the inside of the back cap somehow so you could store it when not in use. That way it stays with the GG and not able to get lost when thrown into the drawer... Know what I am saying...?

you can keep it on the atty vapn, its easier to put and unput it from there:)

what do you think?

"Unput" isn't technically a legal word, but I like it - I think we should make it a proper word. Votes please..............:D:D

Why not. It's very descriptive so we can make it an official word on the GG forum. ;)
Lynn

EDIT: Could you please explain what piece you are discussing (the adaptor?) and where on he atty could it be 'put and unput"? See, I just used "unput" in a sentence. LOL

LOL. Unfortunately, I still haven't found out WHAT part can be put and unput. Can someone please enlighten me. Don't want to miss any tricks. ;)

On the new custom 901 atty in order for it to fit the 3-in-1 connector on the new TS, we will be able to put and unput the adapter part.

If we are making unput a fully legal word, we will have to make all forms of it legal also:
thus, the verb - to unput
present participle: unputting
past participle: unputted
:D:D:D

Thank, Lisa,

That explains it very well.

For a techie, your English skills are very impressive. :D

Thanks my friend - I am a bit of a linguaphile and I do technical authoring too - excellent English is a mandatory requirement. :D

Anyway, if you can put an adapter on, it must follow that it can be unput - sometimes we need the input  of a non-native English speaker to help us "coin" new sensible words and phrases that add to our rich language. :)
