A little "quirky" situation

Alright, I don't know if you guys ever saw the episode of CSI (crime scene investigation) where this old lady who smoked cigarettes very heavily and drank a sweet flavored red colored wine. They found her dead with her head coming through a glass window. They realized it was a murder, but couldn't figure out the cause of death, there was high traces of nicotine in her system along with wine. At the end of the episode, they figured out that a kid who got painkillers from her poisoned her wine with a flavored bottle of nicotine, and she od'd.

-Now, is it illegal to carry around a bottle of nicotine? It's not a schedule class A. narcotic, like ...... and coccain, and I'm pretty sure IF it really is considered a narcotic, I can see it being one because of the addiction, but would be somewhere at the bottom maybe a class D narcotic. I'm 22 years old, say I got pulled over by a cop, he smells something fruity thinks its some type of weed smell, I tell him it's my electronic cigarette juice, and I show him my bottle of e-juice, can he arrest me for possession ? I don't think any cops would actually do that, but if you got a... Hmmm, a "mean" cop, can he take you in, or give you an appearance ticket for court? I know I typed alot, sorry. But still a little more hang in there.

This is another situation
Say your 18 years old just about to graduate from highschool, and they find a bottle of e-juice containing nicotine, can they take that away and call the cops? I mean when I was in school they could rarely ever take an underaged kids pack of cigarettes.

So can you get in trouble for possession of e-juice? Just I guess a fun topic to talk about
