I placed my order for a kayfun clone on Thursday as well as some drip tips, air flow controller, a little VG and some new 28 g kanthal . most of which came off ebay. all my eBay stuff has shipped and can track it and know it is on the truck on its way. my kayfun on the other hand that I bought from a Web vendor says it shipped but you go to the tracking site and it says item is not found. say what you want about eBay but seems when I order things from there they ship the same day. every time I order from a Web vendor it takes them days to get them out the door. This is not limited to vapor vendors but just about all of them. they should not state they ship within 24 hours. having the tracking number is one thing but does you no good if it never leaves the warehouse. Sent the vendor an email this morning. hope they find my package and get it on a truck today. sorry for what seems like venting I am just disappointed . I have been waiting weeks to make this order and this slow shipping just busted my bubble some. I would be happier if it was usps that was making it slow not the vendor missing getting it on a truck for two days. and just so you know the company is in California and I am in Texas and I placed my order at 9 am Texas time. so they should of had it out the same day.

Amazon is the bomb.....if in stock at their warehouse. Nobody is faster.

Sorry Op but you are wrong. I have been using Ebay for many years. I also do a lot of vender purchases.

Print and Ship has come into its own and is no longer a way of confirming anything. I have received - YOUR ITEM has Shipped, with a tracking # from Ebay purchases literally within 30 minutes of purchase in the middle of the night on a Saturday/Sunday.
NO, my Item has not shipped - I just got the pre-generated #.

USPS Tracking is also a JOKE - I have had items show at my Door and the Tracking never updated until it said Delivered after receiving.

Packages can be delayed, but most of the time Venders try to make their promised shipping schedule. Those that continually do not lose customers.

Dunno, but you are painting a pretty broad stroke with the generalizations there. The vendors I buy from on a regular basis get my orders out - like "received at sort facility" out - same day or next day at the latest. You just need to find better places to buy stuff from I guess.

My Guess:

The vendors don't re-scan the packages when they hand it over to the shipper. So the pre-generated label creates the shipping notice, but it may not have made it to the shipper yet. It's in a big box on a truck heading to the UPS/Fed EX/USPS office. If you don't get status by tomorrow, I'd worry (well, Monday).

What vendor did you order your kayfun from?
