I have got down to one analog a day, but also I have been vaping more since Saturday. Monday I noticed in the night when I woke up my throat felt very sore and kind of swollen like(but nothing to go to the er for). Is this normal when switching of phasing into using ecigs? I use 24mg VG juice menthol, and I have a pg of pomegranate also 24 mg. I am scared because I read some places its pharangitis or other another throat infection. I can't afford that as I just started a new job. Please help ease some worried nerves if you can. I have had my lava tube for sometime and try to keep my drip tip clean. Any ideas else on how to stop the scratchy throat?

Thanks for the feedback, I am still new somewhat to ecigs and such. I am about to retire my magnum volt for a inferno by Volcano. I actually even tho I cleaned my drip tip did not know how to clean them exactly. Btw what is the best way and fastest way to clean an atomizer? Mine is really needing it, but since I am down to one, and the company I used to buy from no longer sells a compatible one I am scared to clean it and be stuck to use analogs. I know Walgreens sells Blu, disposables but not sure how long they last in would my atty be clean and dry by the time it would run out?

It's called "Quitter's Flu" and it's very common when you switch from smoking to vaping (or quitting outright, for that matter).

Just be sure to drink plenty of water! And I mean water -- coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruit juices, and just about every beverage other than water will just dry you out more than they'll help.

It should go away in a few weeks, if not sooner.

I don't know what kind of atty you have but all the different kinds I have get cleaned with Everclear which is a potable pure grain alcohol or vodka. I put them in a small jar, put the lid on and swish them around. Let it sit for 15 minute or so and let dry. If you choose to blow them out to speed drying, please do so into a paper towel. It's interesting where the alcohol goes otherwise.

I had a sore throat, sore tongue, stuffy nose, and thought it was from vaping. I think the sore tongue was from vaping but it turned out that I had the same virus/cold as the rest of my household. The first thing that comes to peoples minds when they get sick is that vaping must have caused it. At least that's what I think. Looking back on it now I think I really did have a cold. Another reason why I might always think of vaping as the cause of these ailments is because I do not want the "sore throat" to stop me from vaping.
