MY wife has been in and out of the hospital all summer long. She has Multapal Myloma (sp).i have got to know most of the nurses in the unit.Saturday they put her back in because she it haveing low BP.The nurses noticed after about 4 to 6 hr that i was not taking the "walk" (to the smoke hole off property) and ask why. After i told them they said that they noticed that i looked better, and had better color, i told all of the 1's that wanted to know more about it to come here to learn even 1 of her doctors wanted to know why i wasn't smoking any more all of them thought it was a great idea the doc said she wanted to look into it more for her pt's.
Just wanted to let y'all know that there was some out there that didn't just say we were nutts LOL
i didn't start off calling it a e-cig , i told them it was a nic vapor divice . If they wanted to know more i told them it was a e-cig

Sorry for the battle your wife is fighting. Having a strong supportive spouse makes a huge difference! Sending get well wishes to her!

As a nurse, I try to recommend vaping to people who still smoke. Sadly, I work in a really high acuity ICU and most of my patients have already done so much damage to themselves that they cannot see the benefit of quitting smoking. Uugh.
