I finally have someone vaping. I have a friend that has been smoking for 30 years to switch to vaping. About 10 month ago I recommended it to her and she bought 2 Nipro kits. This did not work. Then a couple of weeks ago I offered her some 510s. She has not smoked in over a week.

I gave her 3 sets of 510's plus a 30ml of eliquid. She told me she was getting low on eliquid amd would need some (suggesting that I would give it to her) How do I tell her she needs to buy some. I already told her it was 15.00 bottle.

I know I should just tell her I would be glad to order it for her (she does not have a computer) but I don't want her to get upset. I do have more than I can use. She does not work and her husband is on disability. They live with his mother who has alzheimers. I don't think they really have much money although she has been buying cigarettes.

Should I just share mine(which I can afford) with her or insist that she purchase her own?

you sound like such a wonderful friend! i think you've already given her the greatest gift. perhaps tell her that you are unable to afford to keep her supplied with liquid, but you'd be happy to purchase it for her, if she gives you the money up front. if she can afford cigarettes, she certainly can afford liquid. you've given her the tools, so now all she needs is to pay for the liquid. not a lot really.
as i said.... you've done a lot for her, so now it's time for her to help herself. :)

Nice story - you're a real pal for buying her 3 sets! There are really cheaper liquid sellers out there that I think she can afford but offer to buy it for her if she doesn't use a comp. It's only fair that she at least pay for her own liquid after you potentially saved her life!

That was a wonderful thing that you did by helping her out but apparently she seems to have the idea that you are her own private charity. She may be playing on your kindness and expect you to maintain her new "vice" first e-liquid then atomizers, batteries, etc.

Although I can appreciate your kindness she has no right to expect you to keep her supplied using your own money, as other people had mentioned, if she was able to supply herself with more expensive analogs, she surely can provide you with the funds to keep her supplied with e-cig supplies.

Give her a list of several places that sell e-liquid and the cost depending on size and tell her that when she decades what she wants, she can give you the money and you will be glad to get it for her.

If she takes offense to this then she does not deserve the kindness that you showed her.

Please don't let this experience turn you off to doing good deeds for people.

I've converted a few people too who seem to think I am the only source to supplies. In my case it's close family so I can swallow that, sort of.

Not having a computer is no reason not to be able to order stuff though, Martha. Many a supplier take orders over the telephone. Perhaps there is a local vendor near you that she can call? I believe True Smoker is in LA, or darn close. Just a thought...
