Hey all, I'm still trying to figure out how much juice I should be buying per week (I'm a budget freak) - and I'm currently using at most about 10 cart per day. I smoked 1.5 pack a day. so how long would a 30ml bottle last me if I used 10 510 carts per day? I just dont want to run out, and I dont want to overbuy. I'm also trying to live on a predictable budget. Any help will be appreciated! THanks :)

All I can tell you is that I smoked a little over a pack a day and I go through about 4 ml of juice a day now. I mix my juice from a 60mg concentrate in PG that I buy in large quantities when it's on sale and mix it with VG, flavorings and pure grain alcohol down to 18 mg/ml. This seems to save me a little money.

Basing the calculation on how many carts you use is too dependent on how much you actually use out of a cart. Using stock filler, you may still have 25-50% of the juice still left in it. As Gandy said, timing a 3ml bottle would be better. I would suggest planning on 30ml per week. Having a little extra juice is never a bad idea.

Here's what I did vapinmachine. I didn't stop budgeting for my cigarettes! As long as you don't go hug wild buying equipment, I promise you, you will have money left over at the end of every month!

Second that! I've also kept a small spreadsheet showing how much I've spent on my new habit and how much I would have spent continueing with analogs. Helps me justify my purchases and feel a lot better about my decision to switch, too.

I'm currently using blue foam as a plug and filling each cart about 10 drops.. Because sometimes I do 6 other times I use 10 I think 30 ml a week is a safe bet! That's still cheaper than 1.5 packs a day at $6.00 a pack! THanks guys :)

10 drop * 10 cart = 100 drops a Day

100 drops / 20 drop per ml = 5ml a Day

5ml * 7 days = 35ml a Week

Dang Boy, do you have you PV duct taped to you hand? I thought I vaped a lot. What mg are you vaping?

Maybe an IV drip would be easier.

I have to admit that I'm wasting juice quite a bit.

1. Despite everyone saying that blue foam is great, my blue foam carts flood the atty a LOT. Sometimes they're great, sometimes they flood my mouth with juice :( - I'm NOT sure why they work great sometimes and other times I get a mouthful. I'm trying to figure it out still.

2. When refilling carts I tend to spill some juice when inserting the blue foam cart.

3. Sometimes for some reason a cart lasts a few puffs and its empty, even though I filled it up. Other times a cart lasts a while.. So yeah, I'm wasting some juice still

I think the blue foam mod was a huge disappointment. Might be sticking with the white filler it comes with and buying new carts from time to time.

Don't feel bad.

Many of us started out just like you. Running around, trying this silly mod and that crazy techeque. All the while wasting time , effort and juice. When I think about all the things I did to try to get carts to work I have to laugh.

One day you will try Cartomizers and all the cart madness will seem like a crazy dream.

That is the reason why i mentioned a cart mod in my 1st post.

Check my signature and try Hihgping's cart mod. You won't be disappointed. I have been vaping all my carts dry since i use this simple mod. I had tried ALL cart mods before.

You will be using the regular polyfill from your carts. You are a snip away.

I've tried HighPing's Cart MOD, and it caused atty flooding and mouthfuls of liquid. Perhaps I was doing it wrong? I don't know, but Ih ave noticed if I blow the atty out one it's flooded the mouthful's of liquid stops. Sometimes the cart just seems to drop too much liquid sometimes it doesn't. I can't figure out what exactly I'm doing wrong. I'm using a hybrid now of HighPing's MOD and the blue foam MOD. Of course I'm still having problems, but nothing seems to work better than just using the standard cart application.

That is the beauty of highping's cart mod. It works exactly as the standard polyfill but with no juice wasted.

Once you get it right it just works forever. If you have leaks just make the plug a little longer. If you are using the new 510 filling (less dense) cut it in half and fold.

Usually i just cut it to half regardless of the filling. Don't overfill the carts. Put 10 drops into the cart. Put the plug. Put 2 or 3 drops on the plug.
Re-read this:

I have yet to flood an atty with this method.

Rule: no wick = less dense and shorter plug; flood= bit denser and longer plug. Start by using half the filling.

P.S. The hybrid mod you are using works a lot worse than using regular polyfill. If you cut the blue foam to the size 1/2 inch it will flood. The BF is too porous to work with this mod.
