I smoked my last traditional cig a month ago. I've been vaping on the stock 510 kit with atties. I tried cartos, and they were great, but I lost one in the name of science and haven't tried them in over 3 weeks. I skilled poly filled carts and went straight for dripping. Dripping has been my sweet spot, but i'll save cartos for driving or long trips. Yeah, cause dripping and driving sucks! What else....well, I've picked up tons of stuff. I'm probably into the $250 range for products and having trouble putting on the brakes

This past weekend has been great. I got a 901 and 801 atty to test out. I seem to like the 901 more than my 510, but the reviews seem to say that the atties i got weren't all that w/the weak 510 batt, but with 3.7-6v mods it kicked. The 801 is nice, but i haven't completed that mod to truly enjoy that atty.

So mods...I got some 2Xaa mods to make, but ordered my batteries elsewhere. The main page of the battery supplier states that he was outa town, so a week after my order they are finally shipping. So this weekend i was itching for mods. I hit up fry's for some stuff, but i felt they were too big to be searching for this tiny stuff. Not to mention their sales staff could care less about me and were less helpful than me looking myself. So i bucked up and decided to hit up radio shack to pay more and find what I needed. So I paid a few bucks more, but i got exactly what I needed and "fast".

I spent a while talking to the GM of the store about my project. He's a smoker, so I was explaining what I was doing with my modding. I explained to him that ECF was a great place to come to for researching instead of those crappy kiosks. Speaking of crappy kiosks [say that 10 times fast!]: his coworker used to work at one. He basically quit because of the crappy quality coupled with the high prices, which meant tons and tons of unhappy customers who went back to smoking.

So I got into modding and have made a few different things. Tomorrow i'm off to harbor freight to get a $3 multimeter and some epoxy. It's time to build this 2xAA 3.7v mod since my batteries are on their way.

Thanks to all you cats out there for all the great support and fun on the forums and chat
:toast: & :vapor:

Congrats on the month.
You're going to lover the mods. I'm waiting for parts for my first juice box.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

Thanks JJ.

I'm going to hold off on the juice mods until i can get this dripping down. Right now i'm prone to flooding and running them dry. But one huge thing i've left out is how my juice has aged and my tastebuds have perked up. So slowly i'm understanding when it's time to drip and blow out the atties.

One of my mods was 4.5v and the other 6v. I think the 3.7v will even be a nice step up from the 510, but have a hankering for the other voltages too.

The 3.7 aren't bad. I use them on-the-go. At home, I use a 5V and they are my favorite. I got enough boxes coming to make 6 juice boxes but only going to make one to see how I like it.
Actually, RW (DH) will make the first one and I'll watch. If I like it, I get to make the second one.

Hubby's that don't smoke or vape but make things are great to have.:)

Beware of these things though, once you start using them, you'll never go back.
