"013-766 Short Heating Element"

I own a kerrlabs ultra waxer. I use it to sculpt in wax. I've run this wax pen for hours on end all the time for many years now. I've never had to replace the heating element.

Sadly it's not cheap. I dont know how many watts or ohms it's runs at.

The device lets you control the pen tips temp, from 200f up to 500f

The pen has a stero jack end piece that goes into the waxers control box. This box plugs into the wall.

I dont think you need all that, just the heating element- since it's so well made. I've yet to break or burn one out.

I am pretty bummed out with the atomizer options right now. Someone here has to be smart enough to see if this can be modded to work.

State of Confusion
I've used a wax pen myself so I'm well acquainted with it. You're barking up the wrong tree. There is no way you can mod one to use as an atomizer and even if you could it would be impracticable.

Kinda amazes me that you knew what the heck he was getting at. I did see 'heating element' somewhere in those many pages of stuff....

poland, and the brassy lands of google
I spent 15 years as a Master Jeweler/Watchmaker so I kinda know what a wax pen does....:)

Hey para, then perhaps you could tell me which watches or clocks I should look for to get real brass movement parts? Particularly gears and 'decorative' parts-- I've dissected a couple of watches and found mostly plastic inside.

i use a hakko ceramic heating element (in a soldering iron) for vaping my medicinal herbs

you could place that element in a glass or stainless tube with a small hole where the hot air would be drawn out, and use a mini-whip from vapor bros with a cotton ball and e-juice, but it'll kick ya in the head every time, lol

i wonder if that's rohs compliant, mine is
i really wonder how many watts it consumes, might want me one to make a portable, yes, Sir.
