SudokuGal - So glad to hear the Skechers are working so well for you! I've heard a few other people say how nice they are. I started wearing Crocks when I started dog grooming, and now my feet "act up" when I try to put them in regular shoes now! 8-o Himmm... I wonder how they would behave in Skechers! ;)

Your feet would do fine in them!!! I know firsthand...if I'm not wearing the Skechers, I'm in crocs (I have several pair...can't resist buying any new design they come out with). The only "problem" I have with my Skechers is that after wearing them a while, I can't wait to get back into my crocs...I say "my toes get claustrophobic in full shoes and the footies I wear," lol.

Thanks for the review! I had heard something about these but was leary of spending so much money. I have been trying to walk at the 'Y' if I can find parking but I haven't walked in years so 3 laps are killing me. First my calves are mooing then my back starts hurting. I've managed 2 miles is all. My feet don't hurt at all though. These are supposed to help with your back too? I don't walk real fast anyway...at least not yet.

I can't say firsthand about helping with back problems but I've heard others say that they do help.

Now, that I've had them for a while, I can say that they are changing my body. Before Skechers, when I got up from sitting a while (either in a chair or in the car), it took me about 10 steps to get moving well...I was bent over and very stiff, and the right hip didn't want to move. Now, I can get up and walk almost normally right away. Even walking around the house barefoot or in crocs, I feel my hips rotating differently (and better).

I still experience fibromyalgia pain if I walk too far in my Skechers but I'm hoping in time my muscle strength will also improve.

Whew girl! You are a shopping fool! I can walk a mall with no problem since I quit smoking and started walking again. Good thing too..my friends and I are going to Disney on one of those give a day, get a day deals. We are all making blankets for the Linus project. I was thinking about getting a pair of those shoes..but I have a pair of walking shoes I only wear for times I will be on my feet a lot..they make me feel like I am 5'4! :pAnd like I am walking on air.

hey Tilly! Nice to see you again! Hope the shoes work..let us know!:D
My shoes came yesterday....put them on and less pain in lower back right away! Lower back pain this morning, (as usual) kicked off the slippers and put the Shape-ups back on.....pain still there but less....now I need some slippers with a rocker sole. I will post back on how they do 10 hours on concrete.
Off topic....anyone had accupunture for back pain, just had it done Thursday for cervical bulging disk, pinched nerve. Seemed to help some.

I only had one acupuncture treatment (just didn't have the money for more at the time) but I do believe in alternative medicine. Let us know how yours go.

I had more pain with "neuromuscular retraining"... a massage meant for fibroymaglia. The first half hour was agony and the second was relaxing. Wish I could have those again but, alas, money stands in the way.
