And as I said, that too, was my focus. We're in agreement on this point.

Spikey said what she said. You agreed. Rather than ignore the main point - filling the cart - I described the common downfalls and the reasons why, basically agreeing with your assessment that they have the worst attributes for both the atomizer and cartridge! And then you have to add the insults. Amazing....

One can describe and characterize other's ideas as one see them and avoid direct ad hominem. Since you've decided against that and attacked me directly, then we are done.

OK then to sum up. You agree with all the main points I was making yet still have to pick 2 posts apart in your haphazard smug fashion and then are so thin skinned that THAT comment has you all feelings? Oh Poor Baby.

What you did when pointing out why it is you wouldn't recommend the 4081, in your subsequent posts, simply validates everything that I had to say from the start. That's the point of "agreement". Again you've managed to switch cause and effect to try to save face. You failed and you're an assclown to boot.

Wow. Just Wow. I suggest you go back and actually read my first post this time and then you can let me know where I am trying to "save face" or why anything you have had to say is relevant to what I was saying in the big picture. I'll let you get your last word in on this thread (that seems pretty important to you) and you can enlighten me in a PM. Assclown LOL thats edgy dude.

I really don't know how you read my initial post and decided I was a supporter of the device. My point has always been. You have it in your hand and they won't take it back so use it to learn what you want. The other side to your point about getting frustrated and going back to analogs is that someone comes here already mad about spending too much money and then hears the same fan boy talk about another model and how easy it is to quit. They might just stop right there and figure its BS or go out and buy the new model without learning the basics and end up frustrated again (we all know no one is going to buy a prodigy as their 1st or 2nd but even if they did think about all the complaints about fried atomizers that would cause).
I don't see the issue with patience anyway. my experience was that I was ready to chuck the idea all together until I found the equivalent of Jims thread. Thats when I decided to not make a mistake the second time and spent my time reading all the reviews while playing around with the thing (it was alot easier reading all the reviews 4 months ago although back then you would hear people tell you that SE is junk so maybe go buy a PeeWee from PS even though they were the exact same device). So from frustration to new order took about a week and since I ordered from CHina it took another week to get it and in that time I learned what to expect and what not to expect. Found out a little something about my taste in juice and got past a big part of the learning curve. Most of that started with understanding that it was as much my issue as the device. I know that is just the worst advice ever and you must fight that sentiment at all costs.

You really missed about 90% of what I was saying.

1. The frustrated users of the inconsistent auto devices that require you to take a class on how to vape, are pleasantly surprised that you don't have to do that with a manual PV. Your comment was they will think postive talk about another device is BS. That says a lot.

2. You state you don't understand people not being patient and then write a long paragraph on YOUR experience and how you worked through it all to get to where you are now. Here's a news flash - you don't understand basic human nature. Most people aren't YOU - stop thinking they are. Ever heard of "KISS"?? Auto's are not KISS, manuals are much closer to KISS. That's why more people like them.

So how about trying to understand basic human nature and help people find a simple PV to use instead of trying to make them go to Vaping School, only. Nothing wrong with giving them tips, but let them know there are easier devices out there.

Again just wow. You know the more I look at my rather benign post and look into how you and kent have responded the more I am convinced you are fighting some weird battle that goes much deeper than this. Maybe Spikey or someone was mean to you at some point or what ever but I hope this helped exorcise your demons. A vaping forum doesn't seem like the right place to deal with your issues but more power to you. Again once if you have a device in your hands it seems pretty sensical to use it to figure out what you like and don't like and use that information to make an informed decision on your next purchase. Apparently that is a crazy abhorrent idea to some people, but I still feel like it makes sense to me. I guess I am the devil.

Hi everyone! I have a ?. I am a newbie and bought, not one but two, SE gold edition sets. The batteries are HORRID. Can I buy batteries from somewhere other than SE and if so, what would I buy? I THINK it is a RN4081, but I really don't know. Please don't call me stupid, I already know that!

You are not alone in being sucked in by SE or being frustrated with the RN4081. The batteries for the 4081 are going to be the same no matter where you get them, unfortunately. You can probably get them cheaper, however.

I would suggest you chalk it up to a learning experience, keep them for a bad back up and get either a manual 510 or a manual DSE901. You can get either of these plus batteries for the 4081 for about the cheapest price from here:

Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop

If you want a US supplier for the 510 and 901 with free shipping, check this out:

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! : Home

Good luck.

Thank you WV2win! I have a 901, well actually HAD! My hubby, who didn't think he would like this idea, seems to have confiscated it and taken it to work with him! It seems like he may be warming up to it! LOL

Well, when you get your next PV, I would strongly suggest getting a manual battery device like the 510, manual 901 (it's new) or one of the preimere devices such as the Prodigy, etc. You will be significantly happier.:)
