I didn't even know the right keywords to do a search for what I need to know so I imagine I'll use the wrong terms here... but...
I bought two really expensive attys and promptly proceeded to burn them up. I don't want to do that again and need to learn how to use an atty to test my juices. What burned up were bridgeless dual coils. After that, I watched a few youtubes that showed the inside of the atty being used and it had a metal plate covering the heating element and had three holes in the plate. I ordered a single coil atty called a dripping one and it didn't look like that. It had a bridge. Trying to use it, it didn't burn up but it did taste horrible and leaked all over the place. If I can find the one like the youtube (with the plate) will it help this noob? I'm really sick of wasting all this money. Thanks.
