The more I try to learn the less I seem to know. I really need help.

I purchased a June Vari Tube and I am trying to find the best batteries I can find for it. Longer lasting, better, price isn't toooo much of a problem.

Here is what I know for certain.
I have efest 2000 mah batteries flat top imr
65.2 mm long
18.2 mm diameter
3.7 volts
My charger is a Trustfire TR001 for two batteries

Is any battery with a higher mah than 2000 going to be too big?
If I find a battery the same size and mah as my current battery but with a higher voltage will my Vari Tube blow up, will my current charger be able to charge it?

I really don't mind using the same size batteries I have I was just wondering if there is something better out there that will last longer. And I really really like my Vari Tube. I'd rather use it than buy anything else. So..really I'm fine with my current batteries.

I really really appreciate any help you can provide. My brain is turning to mush :)

The only real difference is the chemistry and too my knowledge imrs have the saftest chemistry with the downside of of they are over charged they die and to my knowledge you can't buy batteries over 3.7 volts and if you can don't your lavatube isn't designed for them I'd stick with the imrs there are too many knockoff batteries promising everything when they are just plain dangerous at times I'd upgrade that trust fire though

natgas fishtec..thank you both so much! That is very helpful to know to stay away from anything but 3.7 volts. I will definitely keep using imr. And thanks for the advise about the charger. That's something I can definitely check into. And thanks also for helping me put the battery size into perspective. You both have been so helpful.
