Got a Vari-tube (young june) and the vapor is very hot even when voltage is set to 3.0V. Does anyone got the same problem?
The current measured at the end cap is about 2.25-2.35A. Battery is fresh at 4.15V.

I can't measure the actual voltage on the wire, but by calculating from the current/wattage it uses, the voltage on the clearomizer is around 5V?

My equation:
Sqrt (2.25A * 4V * 2.5Ohm) = 4.7V

Anyone experienced similar problem?

I had a v1.0 Mini Lavatube that was stolen and replaced it with a Yung June Mini Vari-Tube.

Things that I used to vape at 4.2 volts I'm now vaping at 3.3 volts. So Absolutely, mine is running Much Hotter than Old Lavatube. Or my Provaries.

I can handle this because numbers are Relative. But what I Can't Handle is the Battery Life. It is Terrible. I don't know if it is the PWM or an Inefficient VV Board? Or if the unit I got is just Wacked. But the Battery Life is Bad. Real Bad.

True...

I can also measure 3.0V when it's set at 3.0V (without the clearomizer). This shouldn't be the case as the device uses PWM (pulse width modulation) which means you can only get fluctuating meaningless numbers with a normal multimeter. Only a scope can measure the right PVM voltage. This seems to be an indication that the modulation isn't working properly.

I am not sure if it's because mine is perhaps a knock-off or it exist in all young june vari-tubes?

I dunno...

All I know is I should have sent it back the First Day I had mine. But I didn't.

And then I put it in my Bike Bag and the Black Chrome finish got all Scratched up (something else I wasn't exactly Thrilled about.) so I can't return it.

That's exactly what I got!!

I vapor at 3.0V before with low resistance (2.4Ohm), so now with Vari-tube, I can't vapor at all....

The battery life is also terrible here, 2 hr and 60% of the battery is gone. Before a fresh 18650 will last two days.

Imagine how bad it would be if you had an 18350 Mini. Like Mine.
