Hey All!

Well, it's day 8 with my VK, and still no analog.

I have a couple of questions about V4L's juice and cartomizers, and I'm looking for an answer on this forum but going around in circles.

1.) What is the difference between the VG and PG liquids? I've read a lot about what VG and PG stand for, how one is thicker, more vapor, blah blah blah. But I wonder about the taste difference.

2.) Are the Premium Juices VG or PG?

3.) Are the Premium Cartomiizers VG or PG? And what is the difference between Premium and regular Cartomizers?

Like I said, I've been doing circles with the search looking for threads with these answers. If someone could direct me to the threads, or just answer them, that would be COOL

Thank You

VG and PG are only the liquid to carry the flavoring and nicotine in. By themselves they are tasteless except some can taste a sweetness with VG. Juices are different from one vendor to another. Most use pg and some let you choose your VG, PG %. Cartomizers from VK I'm sure are PG. PG is Propylene Glycol and VG is Vegatable Glycerine. Hope this helps.

1. PG has a lot more flavor than VG does
2. PG Based
3.
Premiums are PG. They have lower resistance and produce more vapor and flavor than the regulars

Thanks for the info. What would the advantage be to having a mixture of VG and PG? Is it just for the vapor?

Awesome:cool:, I've read about 10 threads where some said PG had more flavor and sweeter, and others that said that VG had the stronger flavor and was more sweeter. I wasn't sure if this was just due to peoples taste buds or what?

Because vg gives better vapor and pg gives better flavor and you need to find your sweet spot for both. Myself vg doesn't agree with me. It gives me headaches and dry mouth.

V4L cartomizers are a PG with some VG mix, intended to increase vapor production.

VG carries less flavor "delivery" than PG, but produces more vapor.

Pure VG is intended primarily for the <2% of humans adversely sensitive to PG.

Premium cartomizers have a lower resistance atomizer which burns hotter more completely vaporizing the liquid carrier and flavor. They are designed to increase the performance of the low-wattage batteries. (at the expense of higher juice consumption rate and shorter battery charge life)

My sweet spot is a 80%PG/20%VG ratio. So if you buy juice from someone other than V4L they may offer an option of various mix ratios. I'd suggest trying between 10% and 30% to get more vapor from the liquid.

As some folks have mentioned they have reactions to VG (and some folks to PG) so you may want to experiment some when you're experimenting with flavors. Welcome to the world of vaping ;)
