so i just got my pcc yesterday. i charged it over night but the dead batt i put in there this morning still isnt charged (its 7PM right now). am i doing something wrong?

when i first put it in i thought it had to screw in but then i noticed the notch for the button on the batt and the spring so i figured it had to be pushed down. when i pushed the bat down the LED flashed a few times and the big greed pcc light turned into a small red light so i figured once i closed the lid it would push down on the batt and charge it.

help!!

Mine is kinda quirky too. I've had basically good luck with mine, but there have been a few times when the batt didn't charge. Pisses you off if you only have 2 batts like I did!

I would just remove & replace and it charged fine. Takes longer than Ac, obviously. Mine is 2-2.5hrs for a full chrg. Longer if it's the 3rd or 4th batt charge in the same day.

Hope that helps.

Oh, and no, doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. Push down, green light comes on, batt flashes a few time and then that's it. It should be charging @ that point.

I haven't used PCCs in a long time... I just jumped in to say now that you can post anywhere in the forum... if you don't get the answer you want you might get a better one in the General e=cigarete sub forum

here: General E-Smoking Discussion - E-Cigarette Forum

you still might get an answer, but just a fyi for future questions

Hey there,
When the PCC is charging, there is a red light on the front, when it is charged it should turn green.
When the batt is in and cover is closed you should see the first light as red, that means the batt is charging.
Have you tried closing the lid on the pcc and holding it down, sometimes the lid does not close right and the connection is not made.
Hope it helps

Yeah, I'd heard that. Not mine tho'. Mine has 2 lights on the front. 1 red, 1 green. The red lights when the PCC is being charged. It goes out when it is fully charged. Green is for charging the batt. Stays on until it's charged, then goes out. Neither change color, they are on when charging and off when charged.

Mine a knockoff maybe? Yours a knockoff maybe?

Does yours not charge a batt on occasion? Kinda like a ghost thing? Happens today and won't happen again for a few days or a week?

Hmm JK,
didn't know these things were so different, I have a pcc charging now
it has 3 led's on the front (a,b,c), now when the pcc is charging, light c is red,on mine it turns green when done. A charging batt has light 'a' as red and it goes out when done.
When the pcc itself needs a charge, light 'b' is red.
It says it's a Joye 306/510 personal vaporiser Accessory

playing devil's advocate here.
I don't think you did anything wrong.

Automatic battery?: is it really not charged or is vacuum switch stuck. try putting the batt in ac charger and see if it says charged or charges quickly. take a few very hard draws and see if battery turns on. yours is manual but the switch may not be making contact. it's just more common on autos

Compatibility: does not sound like your pcc came with your PV. some suppliers sell dse801 and rn4072 atomizers for example, as compatible but in fact the carts of each don't fit right because of the high and low bridges on each. even though a battery screws onto an atomizer does not necessarily mean the +/- poles are the same on each model.

IF the LED flashes though, you are making some kind of contact, plug the pcc in and try charging the battery, this may tell you if the pcc battery is no good if the PV battery charges.

just a note on pcc's- older batteries that discharge faster than when they were new can last a little longer if charged slower on the pcc.
