Spent pretty much the entire day reviewing 8 juices from Gentlemen's Reserve -- but at least I had fun doing it. Vision review and modding tutorials coming tomorrow.

Glad they were helpful. Just doin' my patriotic vapin' duty to explore the Canadian juice market. I was pleasantly surprised by Dan's juices though. I pretty much knew the TV juices were going to be good judging from the following TV already has, but Daniel's own mixes are plenty good in their own right, too, what I've tried of them so far. I keep going back to the Prairie Blend and Evergreen Menthol myself.

One you didn't review has quickly become my all day vape in this new hobby of mine: GR Rugged Blend with Menthol. I've been trying literally dozens of e-juices from a half dozen vendors so far, including many of GR's choices, and the Rugged Blend with Menthol (24mg) is the one I always go back to. It is sweet tobacco (more pipe like than cigarette like) with a perfect hit of menthol crystals and a great throat hit. I highly recommend this one - I've been trying about 14 different menthols from various suppliers, and this is the king of the hill for me.

On your reviews, I've tried several of these flavours, and here's some notes:

- Fruity Juice. Maybe I got a bad batch or something, but it doesn't remind me of hubba bubba and definitely not fruit heavy; mine seems to be soapy or medicinal in taste. I tried it a few times in a fresh carto, and don't like it. I bought a 30ml 15mg bottle. Maybe I should try it again, but I'm worried it's me, not the bottle or flavour.

- Licorice Whips. I actually ordered this one by mistake, was thinking twizzlers when I bought it. But instead, it totally reminds me of those black mummies soft candies from my youth. Definitely a candy vape, but also one of the closest to what you think it is going to taste like kind of vape - if you like licorice, anise, ouzo / sambuca type flavours, this nails it. I like it a lot.

- Evergreen Menthol (30ml, 24mg) a sweeter style menthol, not so much cigarette type menthol flavour, but closer to gum style spearmint flavours. Seemed quite "thin" for a 24mg to me, a light vape, the throat hit was okay, not great. Nice taste though, reminds me of gum. I like it, but would like a bit more throat hit, or a bit more tobacco flavour. I may try mixing this with one of the few tobacco only juices I have - maybe 70% Evergreen, 30% ciggy (from Jugheads).

- TV Cherry Cola. I have discovered, to my dismay, that apparently cherry flavour is nearly impossible to get right in vape juice (according to many folks posting in forums). I love cherry flavour, and I haven't gotten any cherry-flavoured juice from any vendor that actually tastes like cherry. It always tastes soapy to me. I don't agree with your review in that the cherry I taste is soapy/chemically in this one, though I will say it is less soapy/chemically in this TV Cherry Cola than it is in many of the other cherry juices and cherry cola / cherry pepsi juices I've tried (I've tried four different ones). The cola part is really good. Out of all the cherry cola style vape juices I've tried, this one is close to the best. The throat hit is really low on this juice.

Lastly, another you didn't review was TV Geoff's Blend - which I got in a 10ml, 15mg size. Wow. This is a party going on. Seems to have everything under the sun, but it works - tobacco sweet, cinnamon, fruits, really tasty. I'm trying to reduce my mg, and this one at 15mg is a better throat hit than most other 15mg e-juices I've tried. Really recommend this one, but I am not sure it could be my all day vape.

I spent a lot of money with GR; was really happy to do so over two orders. I haven't even gone through half the flavours yet that I ordered. Some fantastic flavours, and (for me) only one or two misses so far, incl the Fruity Juice.

Again, if you're a menthol ex smoker, try the GR Rugged Blend with Menthol. Fantastico.

Some notes on the notes :

- The fruity juice might have had to steep. Mine definitely didn't have any kind of soapy or floral taste, which is often an indicator that the flavourings haven't had time to gel. I definitely got a strong foreground note of that Hubba Bubba bubble gum flavour though, just with some more kind of generic fruit punch type flavour layered over top.

- Licorice Whisps - I was pretty much expecting black licorice, so I wasn't disappointed, but I did like that it was a sweeter licorice, particularly since I'm not a huge fan of licorice in the first place. Now, Sambuca ... that would be an interesting vape. Some licorice flavour, possibly a bit of sweetener and/or MTS mixed in a higher VG base with some vodka added in for that alcoholic warmth ... that sounds really good.

- Evergreen Menthol - I don't think this one was really intended to be a tobacco vape, despite being in his Cowboy Classics section. At least, I detected no tobacco in it, just straight wintergreen with just enough menthol to give it a cool rush but not enough to give it a mentholated flavour; I do detect the menthol flavour way in the background but it's well overpowered by the wintergreen. Which is probably why I like it.

- Cherry Cola - Well, yeah, it's always hard making an artificial cherry flavouring, and I did mention in the video that as a flavour, this cherry cola was an off-brand at best, but still, for what it was trying to imitate I still think it was pretty dead on. The cherry could maybe have been a bit more prominent, but that's my personal preference talking, and it's possible the cherry was relegated more to a backrgound note to maintain a good amount of that fizzy triacetin sensation.

With regards to TV Geoff's Blend, I think Dan just got that in by request recently, and I do hear it's well worth trying. I may consider the Rugged Blend too, though I may pass on the menthol. Again, I'm not a huge tobacco vaper but I try a different one here and there in the event I find one I really like.

Glad to help out! My channel is a bit ugly -- I really have to get to doing the proper colours and background and stuff to match -- but it serves its purpose right now. Eventually it'll be a compliment to the blog I'd originally wanted to set up but haven't really had the hosting money for yet. Soon though.
