PB another good review, I have one too and it is a good little box, cant believe they came out with version 2.1 already with the 1400mAh Batt dam it, but that's only a good thing. Just to let you know the Iken 2ohm Atty runs terrific on this box also with great vapor and flavor though I know your a Boge Carto kind of guy I just wanted to let ya know this as well as others. One thing you have to do on some Atty's and Carto's is move out the bottom center pin just a smidgen to make them work since Boge set this up for just there Carto's to work, but all 510 gear does work by pulling out the center pin that little bit

Thanks! Can you tell us all a little more what you mean by "pulling out the center pin" and how to do it? I think it would be helpful to some.

Great review! I have found that if you just take a paper clip and barely stick it inside the center pin, angle the paper clip and slightly pull out u can wedge the center pin out slightly. If your having problems making an atty or carto fire this has solved it for me every time. You just need the center pin to be ever so slightly extended past the threads. Every fresh carto has fired for me, but ones I have used on my eGo have not. My guess is that the more threads are pulling the carto down further and slightly pushing the center pin just barely inside the threads of the carto.

I LOVE this device, my only problem with it is less than a month after they released it they have come out with v2.1 with a 1400mah batt supposedly :(.

Thanks very much for the advice, I'll have to try this out on those that do not fire.

Yep, there is a V2.1 with a 1400mAh battery, minus the ANION (sorry aliens) coming.
Newer versions of the V2 with the standard battery will be loosing the ANION (sorry again aliens).
There is also a V3 "Automatic Pump" juice feeder coming out as well. Don't know anything more on this.

Found this as well. Hope it helps!!

As always, Phil, you are the master of edutainment! [Personal request: Please don't be the flash-in-the-pan that some prolific video reviewers were. Stay with us for the long haul like GrimmGreen and Scott Bonner (igetcha). OK?]

I've always been fascinated by juice feeders and this looks like a slick one with high mAh and a big juice bottle for a low price. [For example, I see that White Stage Vapor is accepting pre-orders for the V2.1 at $70.]

But, as I reflect on it (assisted by your review), I don't think they are for me. I don't have any one e-liquid that I want to vape for an extended period of time. Even 3-ml and 4-ml cartomizers are a challenge for me. 1-ml cartos are working well ... although I am willing to put up with the 1.7-ml of the Smok Tech Dual Coil in order to get that fantastic vape.

Thanks for the great review. It helped me decide to pick one up locally for a long car trip I have coming up. I figured it would be less hassle during long bouts of driving. So far, I'm very happy with it. I've had no troubles with the included cartos (as you would expect), and I have also pulled a 510 lr atty off my eGo & used it trouble free. Very nice with a drip tip.

I have thought of a use for the "anion" setting. Next time I'm at a concert, it gets used instead of the lighter I would have held up in earlier days!

Sorry I didn't revisit the thread Phil, I think you got it though, I use pointy tweezers stick em in the center hole and just pry to the side a bit and go around the center pin carefully and ease it out. You will have to do this with Atty's on the Revo2 I have found, pretty much anything probably accept for a Boge product the way they have there connector made I'm sure it is set up for there goods only for the most part. I had to do it with my Iken 2ohm 510 but let me tell ya it really works great on this Revo2 flavor is super, drip system is same as the Phidias for the most part.

Hey PB,

It should also be noted that the unit only has a 500mah battery. Which was a little infuriating to me since some vendors were advertising it at anywhere from 650mah to 850mah- and Bogetech also on it's website was advertising it at 650mah.

Anyway, I've attached pics of the website and the battery to support my comments (See below).

After use of this unit I feel like I pretty much wasted my $59.00. The 510 connector is very snarky, due to Boge's attempt to make a proprietary unit. It doesn't work with most atomizers (if you can get a connection due to pin connection- many of them cause a short). Although I haven't tried all atomizers or cartomizers- only the ones I had on hand.

The one good thing is the the protection circuit. It will cutoff power when a short occurs, but not permanently destroy the battery.

I would note that a number of vendors dropped the unit from sale once the true specs of the battery and the limitations of it's connector became apparent.

Looking forward to the new 1400mah version- without the negative ion generator.

Sadly the review I did for Vape TV didn't record due to problems on their host, so my contribution will have to be these pictures and my short comments.

Nice job PB!

@DonDaBoomVape - I hope to be around for a long time! I'll keep these coming out as I have the time. I know where you're coming from. I like to change flavors all the time so for me, cartos are perfect. This is a good device to keep your stand-by in, for me... HYPE!!! A bigger batt (V2.1) would make this perfect!

@eGo Maniac - Thanks! Mine worked really good as well. Glad you like it! Yes! Holding this up at concerts instead of a lighter is not only healthier, but safer as well :)

@mwa102464 - No worries, I found out what you were talking about and posted what I could. The ones that did not fire on mine worked after pulling the center pin a bit.

@cozzicon - Thanks! I've seen the website and they do say 650mAh on the website. I asked my contact at Boge and he said 600mAh, there are many reports of the 500mAh. Would the real mAh please stand up :) It's been working rock solid for me so it was hard for me to say anything negative about it. More battery life would be better and should be fixed by the V2.1. They said they're sending me one, so we shall see.

i got a possible solution to the too much juice part. just swap in a new bottle? i dont know if this has switchable bottles...but i would look into it. just swap out the bottle when you want to change flavors. maybe shoot an email to boge about selling extra bottles to use for switching juices?

The real mah rating of the battery is 500mah.

GREAT review !! Always like your straight forward approach, actually... yours are the only reviews I actually watch in there entirety.

As for the "feed system" In my opinion (Ive owned 2 "high end" feeders) this is not a negative, one has to go through the learning curve on all feeders, its just the nature of "feeding". Whether you spend 45 or nearly 200, you will have to squeeze...tilt..etc.

Again pb good job and please...don't change a thing !!
