I've been using the KGO from Hoosier E-cig Supply for several months now. I purchased it for the very same reasons you recommend it ... and I recommended it often.
Over time, however, I've become disenchanted. One of my two batteries died after awhile (it happens) and several of my cartomizers don't work with the battery including the smok Tech dual coils and the 1.7 ohm single coils. This particular battery may well be a "lemon," of course, and/or there may have been improvements since I bought my kit (e.g., it does not have the large bore cone).
So: anecdotal evidence at best. I don't know what the experience of other users has been over time.
